I am satisfied with the teaching quality and programs.
Placements: Many students got placed in top companies. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amara Raja Group, TCS, etc. Almost 95% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Labs are very good. We have a great library. All classrooms are quite good and clean. They have projectors that help students to learn virtually. The food served in the hostel is very good. Our college provides medical facilities.
Faculty: All faculty members are helpful and friendly. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is effective. In the future, mechanical engineering is going to rule the industry. The pass percentage is 94%.
Other: I chose this course because the future depends on mechanical engineering.

Faculty are the best, and infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: 10 out of 76 students got placed at the college. 10 students got an INR 4 LPA on average. Cognizant hired 3 students, HCL-1, L&T-5, and Wipro-1. About 30% of the students got internships from my course. Some are offered software engineer trainee roles, and some are designer roles in Catia, Ansys, AutoCad, and Solidworks.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility for students. All labs, classrooms, and libraries are good. Every class has a projector. The rooms in the hostel are good. But the food in the hostel is below average. Sports like cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, and badminton are among the different courses' students.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. For teaching, I rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The course curriculum is old. It doesn't make the students industry-ready. Students need to do internships in the industry to learn new technologies at the industry level. In this college, the semester exams are very difficult. In this college, the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this because I thought the requirements for mechanical engineers would increase in the state. But it didn't happen. The latest technologies in industry need to be added to the curriculum. This helps the students struggle less at the industry level. The campus surroundings are covered with greenery. Faculty suggest the industry-level courses offered by Coursera. Every year, the Selesta event is going to be a wonderful event at the college.

It is a college full of joy and technology.
Placements: More than 75% of students are placed at our college. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Emphasis, and Accenture. Around 40% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are up to the mark without any complaints. The infrastructure is also excellent for studying. There is a library available for everyone on the campus. Labs are also available with the required equipment. In the hostel, the food and facilities are excellent. There is a medical college located on the college premises.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. The qualifications of teachers are very good, such as M.Tech. They are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. This course makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are very easy once we follow the daily topics properly. We have a 96% pass percentage for SVCET.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in mechanical engineering. In our course, I will be able to do several industrial visits to obtain knowledge. Several events will be happening in each department weekly.

Our college provides good facilities. Good placements were provided in 2015.
Placements: Our college provided good placements, projects and management. Even the internships provided were good in thermal engineering and thermodynamic with a good stipend of Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 3,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure provided were good. We had separate hostels for boys and girls. All facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms were good. The library on the campus was also good. The quality food was served in the hostel from time to time in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities and sports and games were also available. We had good labs.
Faculty: The teaching quality was good, and we could understand it easily. Teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They make students ready for the industry and to work hard. Good communication skills were provided to students.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

For B.Tech students, it is a perfect college to develop knowledge and get a degree.
Placements: I scored 71% in academics, and I got placed through campus interviews. Now I am working in Turbo Energy Pvt Ltd in Sholingur. The lowest salary package offered is 1.9 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 3.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, ABI Showatech India Pvt Ltd, Turbo Energy Pvt Ltd, Infosys and many others. Top roles are offered by Wipro and TCS.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good, and the labs have good facilities. We can work with it. The library is good. Food, canteen and bus facilities available are superb. Sports tournaments are conducted, and medical facilities are available perfectly.
Faculty: Professors are good, and few professors are highly talented. They teach with many technical ideas in their teachings to students. Teaching quality is good, and you can develop knowledge. Professors are superb like Mahamani Sir, Shivramkrishna Sir, Sakthivel Sir, Uma Maheshwari Mam and AR Babu Sir. Staff members are very good and highly talented.
Other: Fests are well-conducted like Selesta. The campus crowd is huge, and connectivity is good. You can develop communication and speaking skills which help to get placed. Scholarships are given here.

Students can get more practical knowledge from professors who are in the field for many years.
Placements: Around 30% of our friends got placed by the end of final semester exams. The highest salary package offered for students who got placed was 4.5 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is in between 2.5 LPA-3 LPA. Our college was good for mechanical and engineering branch during my UG. Top MNCs like Tech Mahindra, Hyundai and Komatsu recruited students from our college. Internships are easily provided by our college as it is located in Chittoor near Chennai and Sri City (which is a hub for manufacturing and production industries). We can get internships easily if we have some technical skills. Around 75% of our friends got internships easily. In our course, top roles offered are thermal engineer, automobile engineer, refrigeration and air conditioning, computer-aided manufacturing and CAD.
Infrastructure: Our campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and the library has a good number of books from best authors around the world. There is a digital library which helps to read online journals and publications. As our college is best for mechanical engineering, everything like laboratories and equipment is perfectly arranged to students. The food served here is good, and facilities like single sharing and dual sharing with air-conditioners are also available in the hostel. During my UG, we were provided with a subsidy for medical treatments in the local Chittoor hospital. The ground is vast, and there are cricket and football stadiums.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers here is excellent. There are many professors who did many research programs in the mechanical field, and they guide students as well as share their knowledge, which is the most appreciable thing. The course curriculum surely makes students ready for the industry, and students also need to put efforts to learn.
Other: Engine and mechanisms are my favourite subjects, so I have chosen mechanical course in my UG. The best thing about our course is we got good guidance from professors and also department head in education as well as placements. They also guided me personally to select a university for my master's and helped in creating good SOP for university. I suggest that our college should increase practical exams rather than theoretical exams. Our college had many students from Nepal, Africa, Uganda and a few other countries, so our college organises some or other fest once in a month. Our college provides a good number of buses, and there are also private and government bus services from college to other areas of the city. A railway station is also available in less than 500 metres range of the college. So, connectivity is not a problem here.

I am satisfied because of faculty members but not with placements.
Placements: It is a good college but not meant for achievers. Management was not much good. Around 75% of the students got placed from college. The lowest salary package offered was 2.2 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Hyundai was the top-most company that visited our campus. Internships were not provided. The analyst was the role offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was provided for students, and we had a fully equipped gym in the hostel. Labs are good. Classrooms were wide enough. Good food was served for north Indians. Sports facilities were good. A medical college is affiliated with SVCET. Hospitals were also there beside the college and they were managed by the college management only. The library was my favorite place in SVCET.
Faculty: Every teacher in our college was good enough and experienced. The course was good for the industry. The curriculum was based on every student and it was useful for the industry. It will give you more strength and knowledge. Technical skills were improved here. Industrial tours were held and many workshops were useful.
Other: I opted for this course because mechanical engineering is the best course for analytical skills and to gain knowledge. Events were good and management supported entertainment activities. Events held were fun.

Infrastructure is good but disappointed for placements in 2018.
Placements: There will be very few chances of getting placed. Few companies visit here for drives, but they will send for off-campus interviews so that you can attend the drives and get placed. I am from 2018 pass out batch. When I was in the final year, none of the companies visited here for placements.
Infrastructure: Laboratories are good, and they provide new laboratory equipment whenever there is a requirement. They bought new CNC machines for Robotics laboratory when I was studying. Complete drafting is going to be in CAD/Solid works software.
Faculty: There are few teachers with PhDs as their highest qualification. Most of the teachers are M.Tech qualification. Still, the teaching is good compared to nearby colleges. The course curriculum will be changed according to the outside requirement as the world is progressing faster.
