Q:   How is mess food at Sri Venkateswara College?
A:
I've never tasted the food in mess but according to some of my friends who used have access to Venky's mess said that, most of the time the food was good and hygienic but sometimes it may be annoying to eat same meal multiple times in a week. But I think that's how college life is you've to sacrifice your taste and comfort you used to get earlier in your home.

Absolutely a good college in the South Campus.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely brilliant if you are attentive in your class. They are very polite, supportive, and engaging. There is no tolerance for the bad behavior of students. Also they try to help in every aspect, like if someone needs a reference or anything, including a scholarship, they can help in that too.

Overall college is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and also guide us for our future. The semester exam is not very hard. The passing category is about 33 percent in the semester exam. The teachers are highly qualified from various institutes like JNU, BHI, etc. Their teaching quality is very good.

SVC organises the largest fest named Nexus.

Faculty: Faculty members who teach us economics are PhD holders or master's qualified from JNU and Delhi School of Economics. So this makes our course and faculty members among the best. Luckily, the course curriculum is tough, but exams are simple in DU. The pass percentage is always close to 100 percent.

Honestly, the college is worth it if you want a good crowd and want to enjoy events and fests.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful but I don't think the curriculum helps in improving the real-life skills of students. So students should not blindly trust teachers and make their own efforts too in their studies to pass the exams. The semester exams are based on PYQs.

Really good teachers with bad placements.

Faculty: The faculty of BA (Hons) Sociology is absolutely the greatest across the university. It is possibly the best college for sociology in India. The faculty is not just experienced but also welcoming of critical feedback. They give you opportunities for research, seminars, etc.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: From an academic point of view, our college is excellent for B.Sc. (H) Mathematics students because all teachers have Ph.Ds in different mathematics domains. Since B.Sc. is mainly research-focused, it does not make students industry-ready. Exams are a bit different for some subjects, like Calculus.

Good faculty and extracurricular activities. The hostel is also pretty good.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely qualified and good at teaching. Most of them are very helpful and clearly solve any doubts. We receive regular projects and assignments throughout the year. The course curriculum is average, a few things are pretty outdated.

Really good crowd, events, and faculty.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They interact with students in class. Classes are held regularly by them. The syllabus is quite relevant to the course. Along with the course, we read skill-based and value-based subjects. Almost every student passes exams.

The best of South Campus, Delhi University.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, but there are some who are really ignorant. In either category, they belong, each and every professor is an expert in their fields. Semester exams are not that tough if the student pays attention in the lectures. The co-curricular activities are pretty good, as often the organisation of sports weeks, etc., happens on a regular basis.

How CUET placement changed my life in college.

Faculty: Most professors are very helpful and qualified. I believe the college has some of the best teachers to help you. The curriculum is very much relevant, and it helps the students to get to know what their job sector is going to be like and what they are going to work with. Semester exams are quite different if you study. The pass percentage is 40 percent.

Overall, the college crowd and faculty are good. For placement, you have to give your best.

Faculty: Faculty of my department, Maths, is the best, I must say. They are friendly in a way if you have studied at school, then it’s nothing less than that. Professors teach like that only. All my teachers are females, so yeah, they are the best. I don’t know about other branches, but as per my knowledge, the faculty is good.

The college crowd is good, and the college is also good.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and also knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching is very good, they would not cancel the class without prior information, and they would also consider your views. The curriculum is relevant to the point. About the exams, they are average, not too hard nor too easy, you just have to understand the concept. The faculty of the Political Science department is good, but some professors are way too rude, most professors are very good. They would also help you with your pers...

Life at Venky. Satisfied with some bad colleges in DU South, except SRCC.

Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful and approachable, but some of them are very rude and dont even listen to the students. B.Com Hons is the most famous course among the students, and I think it is more practical than theoretical. Tally, MS Excel, and computer software make it even more interesting.

Good placements, faculty members are good, and mostly things are good.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. They have a lot of knowledge, and they are easily approachable. Course curriculum is good. They test our skills and also teach us very nicely. Exams are not that tough if you have some basic knowledge of whatever has been taught.

Definitely recommend others to do preparation for the exam and to get into the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are so friendly and experienced. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also upto the mark, and they don't hesitate to explain anything if we ask again and again. The course curriculum is also good, and from time to time workshops are organised. The students are also industry-ready. Semester exams at the college are also good. The passing percentage is good.
