Our beloved SRM Easwari Engineering College.

Placements: I am a student of the MBA (2023-25) batch. The top recruiting companies for my course are Wipro, Zoho, TCS, etc. Over 75% of students in the MBA program get internships. The highest package for the MBA program is 46 LPA, the lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the median package is 4.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: SRM Easwari Engineering College has a variety of facilities and infrastructure, including labs, classrooms, libraries, and sports. There is Wi-Fi in labs and classrooms. Labs are also well-equipped. The hostel facility is also very good in our college. There are two blocks for men's hostel with a capacity of about 2,000 students. Our college campus is very well-maintained and clean. Besides, the food quality in our canteen is also very good.

Faculty: SRM Easwari Engineering College has a highly skilled faculty, a well-structured curriculum, and flexible exam schedules. Faculty members are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and approachable. The syllabus provides students with the knowledge needed for real-life work. Exams are scheduled in a flexible manner so that students don't miss opportunities like placements. The pass percentage is 50% in the internals and 50% in the final semester exams.

Overall, the college is average.

Placements: The college has an excellent placement record. Good companies come to the campus and recruit students. The college has a high placement record due to strong industry linkage. Thanks to the dedicated career development cell. The highest package was 40 LPA by a student from the CSE department.

Infrastructure: Our laboratories have a minimum number of systems and are serviced once a month. We are encouraged to focus on our sports of interest. All our classrooms are very spacious and properly maintained. The hostel facilities are good, providing comfortable living, albeit at a slightly higher cost.

Faculty: It is possible to pass the semester exams with proper preparation in college. Some self-study classes are required to provide the content by the teachers. The teaching is helpful, and the students are quite qualified. The students are industry-ready.

I am dissatisfied with the brand SRM because of huge fees structure and other unnecessary things.

Placements: Only 40% of students got placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Byju's, Jaro Education, City Union Bank, BNY Mellon, and Extramarks. Around 40% of the students got internships in Oppo, Extramarks, Shri Ram Life Insurance Companies, Dabur and various other small scale industries. Top roles offered were as a business development executive, and management trainee.

Infrastructure: Overall, the college infrastructure is pretty good, but college can improve its infrastructure and facilities since it does not meet the standards for the fees paid. The quality of the hostel and food served in the mess is good. Medical facilities, sports and games are also good. The college allows students to indulge in extracurricular activities like sports, etc.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is fine since they take classes using PowerPoint presentation and projectors. You cannot expect a high quality of teaching standard from every staff. The course curriculum is based on Anna University Course Curriculum, but the curriculum does not give much exposure. As the college is autonomous now, college might reframe the course curriculum for the next academic year that is for 2019 batch students.

Other: I chose this course to build my career in operations field, and the most important thing is to improve the placements provided for each specialisation. At the same time, the college provides ample opportunities for extracurricular activities, events, fest, etc.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructures and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in Easwari Engineering College is overall good. But when compare to other departments, MBA placement is quite low. There are Wide opportunities/openings for marketing and have the higher chance for getting placed than Finance, Operations and HR. Expecting good companies during placements.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, Really a good platform. Well-equipped computer laboratories as required, smart board classrooms, Teaching has now become digitalized. Libraries also available for each department. The Quality of food is also good when compare to other colleges. But still need more place for sports and games.

Faculty: In MBA department, the teachers are well experienced, highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful and putting their full efforts in order to upgrade the students performance. They are conducting special coaching class during exams.

Other: Expecting more practical session by visiting more number of companies to provide enormous knowledge than simply sitting in the classrooms.

Overall 85-90% approval rating. Industrial visits & case studies were organized.

Placements: We had a good % of placements (approximately 85%) of the qualified candidates. We had multiple education FMCG and telecom companies coming for placement. Though the placements were core Sales and Marketing that is the ideal place for an MBA graduate to begin learning.

Infrastructure: Facilities like the library, classrooms and the overall department infrastructure were good. The canteen was decent with the quality of food being better than an external entity. The only flipside is a lot of waiting time in the canteen. Could do better in terms of kitchen management. Other facilities were good as well.

Faculty: The curriculum designed as such by Anna University is what the college takes up. Though there is a lot of theoretical information it would be better if there were more case studies and more hands on practical approach. Despite the curriculum, the college was gracious enough to get us out on industrial visits and also gave us case studies to sharpen our skills.
