Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech Biotechnology. The college provides placement training, internships, and career guidance. Companies from IT, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors visit the campus. Students are encouraged to improve their skills for better opportunities.

Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure with well equipped labs, smart classes, Wi-Fi, and a library. Hostel facilities and food are decent, along with good security and basic amenities. The overall environment is peaceful and supportive for students. Medical facilities and sports amenities are also available on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly. Curriculum includes both theory and practical learning, making it relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and regular preparation helps students score well. Faculty members are always willing to clarify doubts and guide students whenever needed.

Placements: Placements in core departments like biotechnology are comparatively lower than in IT departments. But there are still plenty of opportunities in the research field, pharmaceutical fields, food processing, healthcare, and quality assurance. Many students also choose higher studies after graduation at esteemed institutions.

Infrastructure: As a day-scholar with hosteler friends, I'm very much aware of our college hostel infrastructure and how safe it is. The laboratories for biotechnology are being established, and there are plenty of resources here for us to research, experiment, and learn.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very helpful, experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive. They make learning interesting and easier both through theory and practical sessions. Curriculum is curated with relevance to the department, and it helps students to get ready for the industry.

Other: Joining B.Tech Biotechnology at Easwari Engineering College was one of my best decisions, considering the faculty members, campus, and various opportunities to develop our ideas into startups, patenting, and many more. Placements: 70% of students are placed in Zoho, Infosys, Zifo, and TCS. The highest package is 22 LPA, average is 5.6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Siemens and GE Healthcare are top recruiting companies. 70%-80% of students are placed in hospitals across India and Tamil Nadu and companies like Phoenix Medical System and ICAR-CIRCOT Mumbai as sales and service engineers.

Infrastructure: Classrooms with projector and sometimes fans, light, and windows will be broken labs-microcontroller, instrumentation. Quality of food and hostel is average. In sports, you will be given chances to participate in other college sports events if you are a sports person.

Faculty: Teaching quality is average, and some of them won't be teaching properly. You will have to study on your own. Course curriculum is average, and somewhat makes students industry-ready. Difficulty of semester exam depends on the subject, and pass percentage is 80%.

Other: I chose this course as it is related to biology. Best thing is that it helps the doctor. I wish the infrastructure, facilities, and placement offers related to core companies were improved.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and good labs for all the departments, and for ECE, there are five labs with good infrastructure. BE/B.Tech admission in Tamil Nadu is done based on the online counselling process called TNEA. There is no state-level entrance exam for admission in Tamil Nadu. Candidates have to register and appear for the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA counselling held every year. 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200. TNEA 2026 counselling process includes registration, assignment of random numbers, Certificate verifications, rank list publication, and finally the counselling. The counselling rounds will include steps like Choice Filling, Allotment, Confirmation of Allotment, and Reporting to the College/TFC and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation.
