My overall rating for college is 4 out of 5.
Placements: Placements start with internships. Many Ernakulam native organizations like IOC, Shimla Foods, and BP hire interns and out of that, almost 80% of interns are offered a full-time job. Nowadays, companies hiring is reduced and they don't hire directly instead of that they hire interns and see the behavior and capabilities of students later given full-time jobs. Apart from that, the college places 80% of students from our 2023 batch. The package is not as expected. The lowest package is 2.4 LPA and the highest package is 5 LPA, which is low. The top role offered is a chemical analyst. Overall, the experience is good.
Infrastructure: The college did not have a uniform at the start later suddenly they announced we had to wear a uniform, which is not good. The infrastructure and college environment are fascinating but at the same time, rules are very strict. Wi-Fi and the internet are available all over the college premises. The library is quite big and it has 200 students capacity and we can take books to the hostel. The hostel is good. I like the food and all the stuff. The college canteen is not open all the time and very limited items are there. No medical facilities are available but for minor injuries, we have a small clinic.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good but some have attitude problems. They don't treat students well and they insult students on the call, which is not a good thing. Some faculty members are very helpful and sensible. They understand our feelings and mostly, chapters are taught at PPT. There is no practical exposure. The course is good. Mid-exams, end-semester exams, assignments, practicals, and projects are conducted in the course. Semester exams are tough and need a lot of preparation. 30-35% of students fail every year in our college.

Overall best College for M.Sc. in Chemistry Course.
Placements: Many companies visit our college and provide good recruitment possibilities. Approximately 80% of students enroll in our course. The maximum installation rate is 30 LPA, with an average range of 12 to 23 LPA. Ernst & Young, the National Thermal Power Corporation, and Sanofi are among the major recruiters. Internships are available following the first year. Pharmaceutical researchers, patent analysts, and others are in common positions.
Infrastructure: The campus is quite well done here with more space, which can provide better campus life for students, and in terms of infrastructure, it will be better than before, with fully AC centralized study and a very big library and good study materials and rooms. There is a lift provided on each floor. Each group exists, and students focus on these groups in order to gain new knowledge.
Faculty: Some teachers have excellent teaching skills, while others do not. The curriculum is appropriate for the professions, and there are supplementary courses for communication and personality development. The curriculum prepares students for work, and semester exams are moderate. The passage rate is 61%.

Overall best college for M.Sc. In Chemistry.
Placements: The college has a good reputation with top firms, and students who excel in their subjects are easily placed with a nice package. The highest package is 32 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average is 15-24 LPA. Some of the hiring firms are IOCL, HUL, and Tata Chemicals. Some of the positions that are available are Research Scientist and Analytical Chemist.
Infrastructure: St. Berchmans College has a very appealing and pleasant infrastructure that students perceive positively. The department offers course-related resources that enhance understanding and practical knowledge. The library has a wide range of course-related books that can be checked out for a limited time. The hostels for girls and boys are located in Kottayam and on campus, respectively.

Overall, the best college for M.Sc. in Chemistry Course.
Placements: Approximately 55 to 70 percent of students get placed, depending on the student. Last year, the highest package observed was between 15 and 25 LPA. ONGC, Pfizer, Novartis, and other top recruiting firms are among them. Internships are not offered by the college; students must approach businesses off campus.
Infrastructure: Both the infrastructure and the facilities offered for this training are good. Students have access to Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are spotless. Granite is used to make benches. Additionally, pupils have access to a library. Both the hostel and the mess serve good cuisine. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
Faculty: Every instructor is highly competent and helpful. They are knowledgeable and well-educated. They use extremely basic teaching methods. They support every kid in their academic endeavors. They prepare pupils for the workforce. Exams for the semester are rather simple. Nearly all students can pass with ease. 87% of people pass.

Overall the best college for the M.Sc. in chemistry course.
Placements: Placements at our college are respectable. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 13 LPA. Businesses came to hire students including Vinati Organics, Aarti Industries, Fineotex Chemical, and others. The average salary package offered is 19 LPA. Around 70% of students secure internships. Environment chemist and process chemist are top positions available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is Wi-Fi in almost every room on campus. Students can view a wide assortment of books in the library. Medical facilities, labs, and classrooms are adequate. All sports facilities are provided by the college. It hosts a sporting event called Zest. It includes all indoor games and sports. Students must choose their area of interest from the several clubs offered by the college.
Faculty: The curriculum is developed by professors, which is mostly numerical because it is an independent college. Students can pass if they study hard, if not, they can fail. Therefore, teachers administer difficult tests, and occasionally students open the book but receive nothing. Although semester exams can be challenging. Students can succeed if they prepare beforehand. The pass percentage is 75%.
