Good faculty members but can make good difference.
Placements: As much as I have heard from the placement cell faculty. Placement here is quite good for civil mech. TCS and Infosys like companies hire students, but make sure you are developing skills. From this year, there are industrial faculty members for programming. Make sure to take full advantage.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good, can't say the same about food. Accommodation is good 24/7 electricity, hot water, and there's a study room, which can be used till 9.30 PM. Hostel timings are strict you can't go out after 6:00 PM. Hostel fees are quite okay Rs. 76,000 for mess and accommodation.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and friendly. There are always good and bad parts but make sure you don't get into bad books of faculty members. Lectures are very strict and not a single lecture is given free. It's quite studious college. If you want to just enjoy your college life without any worries of attendance and study trust me this college is not for you.
Other: I am studying B.Tech electronic and computer science. As it gives benefits to both the core branches it opens doors for many opportunities. St John's passing rate is more than better. As it's autonomous from this year. Curriculum is designed to keep the students wellbeing in consideration. Not many events are held here but you can surely enjoy events like Megaleio, Prasang, Garba, and Winter Wonderland.

It is actually good because of its faculty, events, and opportunities for this branch.
Placements: In Electronics and Computer Science, most of students are placed, and it provides an average package of about 4 LPA to 5 LPA. 50% to 65% of students get internships from the course in TCS, CapGemini, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, etc., like VLSI design, embedded systems, etc.
Infrastructure: It has many classrooms and labs, but in some labs, some PCs are not working. It has 2 libraries, but they have only study material books, no other kind of book is available. There is also a workshop room for learning plumbing, carpentry, etc. There is 1 auditorium and 1 hall for short events.
Faculty: It is a kind of strict faculty, and some are friendly too. Even though they are strict, they are helpful and provide guidance. We have to maintain discipline even though we are college students. Exams are also conducted in proper discipline. It is not tough to score good marks or pass.
Other: In this college, many events and fests are organized, and there is also a sports day.

The college is good you can take admission.
Placements: Some so many students have gotten placements in industrial areas. The college is providing and taking the placement campus for students that helps students get a job or an internship. Overall 60% of students get a job from college. Although the college is good.
Infrastructure: Our college is good but it needs more facilities like in classrooms full of students approximately 100 and there are only a few fans it makes a suffocating environment. For labs, we need more developed computers. The food in the canteen is not that good. The library is good.
Faculty: The knowledge given by the faculty members is good but it will be more relatable if it is studied practically. Otherwise, all things are good. Sometimes faculty members teach us from the PPT that they made based on our syllabus and this works so well it helps to understand and clear the concepts.

Dissatisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: There is no placement as last year, not any single student got placement for any branch from any company. The packages they offer are also less as they for our branch they treat like there is no placement for the course we are learning. Hope so this year's placement takes place.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice but hostel students don't get proper food to eat. They get only breakfast and dinner for lunch. They only provide morning breakfast and how can they make the hostel feel if they are treating children like that they don't care for students' food.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good. They don't even know how to teach children they treat us like schoolchildren only give a lecture for attendance. They don't go beyond attendance. They don't treat college students. They treat like school childrenn and don't give time for extracurricular activities and internships.

If living around palghar then opt for it or else go for Mumbai side college.
Placements: The top package offered was around 5 lakhs per annum, while the average package was around 2.5 lakhs per annum. Most roles pertained to PLC operations. This is our first batch, but I am sharing insights from our Electronics and Telecommunication (EXTC) branch, which has a somewhat similar placement scenario. Typically, the college does not provide internships.
Infrastructure: Labs and faculty are adequate. Currently, there is no official hostel available for boys, but the accommodations for girls are decent. I prefer eating outside rather than relying on the hostel or canteen food. The library is a significant advantage, as it is well-maintained, and Wi-Fi is only available there.
Faculty: The college offers a solid foundation in Electronics and Computer Science (ECS), preparing students to be industry-ready with dual expertise. While the teachers are knowledgeable and willing to assist, there is a lack of emphasis on troubleshooting skills. The semester exams are challenging, requiring thorough preparation. The ECS course is notable for its relevance, combining both computer science and electronics, which allows students greater flexibility in their career choices. However, increasing practical exposure and hands-on problem-solving could further enhance the learning experience.
Other: This college tends to focus more on the software side of things. While I understand that it is a current trend, it is essential to give equal respect to core branches as well.
