Dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: No major companies come here for placements. They mostly give students a 2-3 lacs per annum package even if students are talented. They will just get 5-6 lacs per annum of package max to max. Students struggle for placements here and try to get it from outside.

Infrastructure: Do not worry about Wi-Fi as they will not provide you with the password. In some areas of the college, even the network is also not present. This gets just the worst in the summer season when the heat wave hits the students and you have to write papers in this heat.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college differ from department to department like faculty of AIML is a real hill so four stars are just to them. They are cooperative and supportive, especially the head of the department. I have heard about the strictness of HOD from the IT and CE departments.

I am satisfied with the teachers, average learning, average placements, and good infrastructure.

Placements: It is a new branch. Major students get placed. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Companies like Oracle visit the college for placements. Many companies visiting the college may depend and change. Above 90% of students get paid internships. The course offers concepts of ML and AI. Concepts are quite amazing and valuable.

Infrastructure: Labs have Wi-Fi and are very decent. There is no AC in classrooms. There are multiple water coolers on each floor. The library is decent, quiet, and well-managed. The hostel is decent.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful and possess good knowledge of their subjects. They are supportive and try to make concepts easier to understand. The teaching style can be more interactive at times. The course curriculum is mostly relevant and covers the fundamental concepts, but it could be improved to be more in line with current industry trends and technologies. Faculty members are friendly and help us to manage our world. Various workshops are conducted to improve our skills.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the IT field and I wanted to build a career in software and technology. The course does cover some relevant subjects. Most of the teaching is outdated and lacks industry-level depth. One major drawback is the limited exposure to practical learning and hands-on projects. The college environment is just average. Fests and events are not very frequent or engaging, and there are fewer opportunities for extracurricular activities. Campus connectivity and internet access can also be improved. The crowd is decent, but not very enthusiastic.

Faculty members try their best. The course curriculum is relevant.

Placements: Mostly, the web developer role is offered in our college during placements. The college provides internship courses inside the college itself. This year, good companies visited the college which is expected. Overall, the placement rate increased this year (2024). The highest package is 7.5 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Students got internship training in courses in college itself. This year, placements are better than the previous year. College is improving their potential day by day.

Infrastructure: Overall, facilities and infrastructure are good. It has enough labs and classrooms. The canteen facility is available. The food they provide in the canteen is good. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities are provided in our college. We have a gymkhana for indoor sports.

Faculty: Faculty members try their best. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are a bit difficult but not to worry because it is autonomous so the papers are made inside the college only. We should score more than 5 points and if we score more than 7 points, then it is good.

Good college, faculty members are great but disappointed by the canteen.

Placements: Our college is average at the placements. The colleges are never bad, students make the college bad. However the college is good. Students got internships from courses like Robotics, SQL, Blockschain and many more. The whole college is engaged in doing some or other courses.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is a bit okay-ish because there are very few fans in the classroom but the classroom is spacious and clean. Our campus is a completely beautiful blend of good positive energy. Canteen here is quite okay, I would not say good but okay-ish even the prices of food are expensive.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our college as they solve and clear every doubt clearly without any issues. The course I'm pursuing is relevant as the college is making us ready to face everything in the future. The faculty are highly experienced and dedicated to teach the students the strong place of community make the college a good college. Even our college give a good positive energy to study.

Other: I'm doing AIML course at my college. I chose this because after my secondary studies, this course is very updated and very useful for the upcoming generation. It is a very hardworking but relevant course which can be pursued. The best thing about my course is that each and every time there is something new to learn about.

The college is good for teaching and other activities.

Placements: Companies are coming, but it depends on students to crack interviews. Many companies do not visit because students are not participating in their programs. That's why placements are comparatively less in this college. Not many students are placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are spacious. One thing missing in the college is that air conditioners are not there, even in labs. The college is cleaned by the cleaning staff regularly. Washrooms are also cleaned on a regular basis.

Faculty: Exams for this course are mostly in the pattern of 2 IAEs (Internal Assessment Exams) and an End Semester Exam. This is a course of 8 semesters. All exams are conducted strictly under the supervision of experienced faculty members. Lectures happen from time to time.

Faculty members are okay. The placement rate has increased this year.

Placements: Mostly web web-developed role was offered in our college during placements. The college provides internship courses inside the college itself. This year good companies came which was expected. Overall the placement rate increases this year (2024) the highest package they provide is 7.5 LPA and the lowest 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: All overall facilities and infrastructure are good. Have enough labs and classrooms. The canteen facility is also available. The food they provide in the canteen was good. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities are also provided in our college. We have a gym khana for indoor sports.

Faculty: Faculty members try their best. The curriculum is relevant to my course only. Semester exams are a bit difficult but not to worry because now St John is autonomous so the papers were made inside the college only. Passing percentage is you should score more than 5 pointers and if you score more than 7 then it is good.

Other: I choose AI/ML because it's a new branch in our college and has more demand in the market.

This college is for average students .

Placements: The placement are on campus. Companies come in the college and select the students for jobs. There are so many good companies that have visited the college like Infosys, Facebook, Wipro, Apple, etc. And the best package the student had is 10 lacs per annum .

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so good in the college that has all the things that the students need in college, like a canteen that has all kinds of food, a library, wi-fi, computer labs with smart screens and projectors in classrooms, toilets, water filters, chemistry labs, workshops, etc.

Faculty: The faculty are also good, but if you are calm with them, they also stay calm with you, and for exams, there are 6 exams in a single academic year (4 units) and 2 semester exams. The college is autonomous, so the college will check the answer paper. There are two difficult exams in the 1st year of B.Tech. math and mechanics, so please focus on them if you are going to any college.

It's okay college. Average college in a village near which is not good for student life.

Placements: I am part of the B.Tech batch of 2026. Around 90% of students placed past seniors, with the highest package reaching 32 LPA, the lowest around 3.5 LPA, and the average at 7.8 LPA. Top recruiters included Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and Deloitte. About 80% of students secured internships in companies like Google, IBM, and TCS. The most common roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and system engineer, preparing students for both industry and higher studies with hands-on experience and a strong technical foundation.

Infrastructure: I used to be in a boys hostel earlier now it's closed but during the time it was available it was below average, boys' hostel. The best warden was very frank and free with everyone which spoiled the kids. Hostel facilities were below expectations. Rooms were cramped, poorly maintained, and lacked cleanliness. Water supply issues were frequent, and washrooms were often hygienic. The mess food was monotonous, oily, and lacked nutritional value, with barely any variety. The canteen offered limited options at high prices, and hygiene was a major concern.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and hard-working. They will explain topics again if needed and are understanding and supportive. Students enjoy studying here, staff are always pushing you for better stuff and courses, and sometimes out of class too, if you misbehave which maintains discipline.

Other: No AC even in labs which are very low-class at least labs should have ACs.
