Not so satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: When I was in my final year, only one company visited for electrical engineers. They ask registration fee to attend an interview. Two members were placed, but they didn't join. We didn't get any stipend, but we use to get the scholarship from the government between Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 7,000 per year.

Infrastructure: They didn't provide us Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are good and well-furnished. The library is quite well, and lots of books were available, but there was no e-library. There are no medical facilities and forget about sports and games. Sometimes, they use to conduct cricket but only one team from the electrical department. In that, first-year to last-year students can participate if wanted.

Faculty: In our college, the faculty use to have 50% knowledge on subjects. Our HOD and one more lecturer have good knowledge on subjects. The teaching quality was 50%. Only, textbook lectures they use to give us. Even, the lectures don't have the complete practical knowledge.

Other: Our college use to celebrate few events like college day, women's day. The campus crowd was good. There are trees around the campus and has the good environment.

I am relatively satisfied with its faculty, infrastructure and facilities, except for placements.

Placements: A long time ago, there were many placements, but now there is a shortage from the last two years. The highest CTC offered is about 50,000 per month, while the lowest CTC is about Rs. 14,000 per month. The companies like the HCL technologies, Radiant systems, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HDFC bank, IFB, Amaraj industries, etc., visit the campus. The job roles offered to the students are the maintenance engineers, regulating officers, assistant manager, operational staff, etc. The stipends offered to the students range from Rs. 6,000-12,000.

Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi facility up to the campus. It also has large classrooms, medical facilities, sports like the football, volleyball, basketball, cricket and indoor games. There is a central-library housed in the spacious building with 16000 volumes of books along with IEEE, IEIE journals. There are well-organised labs with excellent equipment and classrooms with projectors. There is homely food available in the canteen at reasonable rates. There is also a separate hostel in the campus provided for both boys and girls. There will be clean and hygienic rooms for both the students and the staff provided with a good atmosphere. An indoor gym is also available. The transportation facility is also good for both the RTC and the private transports for around 70 km.

Faculty: The faculty-student coordination is excellent and very much helpful in all activities. All of them are well-qualified lectures and doctorated HODs for departments. The students to faculty ratio is also approximately 25:1. The college also offers graduation and post graduation. The course curriculum is much helpful in developing and improving the student's knowledge in the technical aspects.

Other: The St.Johns college of engineering and technology is a good college with well-qualified lectures and great labs to improve the practical knowledge. The hostels and transportation facility is also nice. Except in the placements, this is the best college for the engineering students in all the activities. Also, this college offers post-graduation, MBA and pharmacy courses for the students.

The best college in Palghar, but it is too far.

Placements: The placements are not yet started. It will be starting probably in 2-3 years. Some companies come and offer the job but the salary offered is 2-3 lacks per year. The placements of electrical and telecommunication branch are 0%. Other streams such as IT, CCS, mechanical has the placements of 10-20%. NAAC accredited college with grade A. So, hoping to the get better placement in the coming future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. The campus is always clean. The spacious classrooms, proper lab and equipment are available. It has the lack of free Wi-Fi and slow internet connectivity in cyber room. There is no parking space for 4 wheelers, it is a paid parking for 2 wheelers. It should be free in the area like Palghar.

Faculty: The faculty are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Some of the faculty are under-qualified (very less). Their teaching methods are good. We get good industry exposure. There is a disciplined and well-mannered atmosphere. The course curriculum is very useful. The mentoring session is conducted in every week which helps to cooperate and understand the faculty and solve any problem.

Other: Not bad if you want to just complete your b.tech. The college has good infrastructure and supportive faculty. Located in a good environment. No games facilities but games are conducted once a year. College has good hostel facility for both girls and boys with good food.

Other: Classes at St.Johns College of engineering & technology are interactive with a mix of lectures, case studies and presentations. Internal and external exams get equal weightage. Tests are conducted regularly. No handouts are given to students but most teachers share their presentations. I had an average experience with the college.

Perfect college for good learning.

Placements: Normal placements, good for information and technology and CS students. No placements for mechanical and civil branches. The electronics and telecommunication background is good in college. The companies are coming but no MNC. So the rate of placements is poor in the college.

Infrastructure: The best infrastructure and campus. There is greenery all over the campus. The campus is spread over a vast area. Big grounds and a large canteen. 3 floors and lift is available. All labs has internet connection. Laboratories are nice. Classrooms do not have air conditioners.

Faculty: All the professors and teachers are highly qualified. The curriculum is well. The professors are mostly Ph.D. holders. All the faculty are experienced. The attendance is compulsory.
