Amazing Journey for every youth filled with Alot of Happy Memories.
Placements: St Josephs is the top commerce college in Bangalore to provide placements. Top Mncs like Goldman sachs, jp morgan, accenture, Wipro, TcL, Odessa etc. Come to campus every year. The average placement percentage is 85 to 90 %. Mostly All the students without a backlog get placed somewhere or the other. The highest Salary Package ranges above 1 Lacs and minimum is 40000. The top roles which are open from my course are all the fields in any of the organisation because it focuses on Business Process. The post can range from analyst to manager too.
Infrastructure: Despite having a small campus, the college infrastructure is well maintained. There are 2 computer labs equipped with Wi-Fi. The classrooms are quite big enough to accomodate 80 to 90 students. There is a big cricket playground, colourful Basketball court, Table tennis room, carrom room. The College gym is open free to all the students until 5pm. There is also a big library in the basement with charging sockets so students can study and work too. The College canteen is situated at 2 places to avoid overcrowding. The food is Average in the Canteen but the fast foods are amazing.
Faculty: The Teachers are well prepared for the class. The college has its on curriculum and lessons. The language books are written by college teachers itself. This Course has industry named in the course itself, so obviously if you want to continue you life in business, Information Technologies field this course will help them learn about the corporate World. There are 2 exams (tests) conducted in a semester. One is Mid term test of 20 marks and other is end sem test of 60 marks. The Exam Paper only contains the topic they have taught making the paper not that difficult.
Other: The College is filled with alot of clubs, departments and associations making them conduct one or the other event monthly atleast. There are 2 Big Cultural Fests- Dhwani and Kalotsav. The environment is commerce based. As the campus is small the students get a chance to socialize well with others.

Great college for your graduation life. The college needs to update its syllabus regularly.
Placements: Around 70% of students get listed each year. The highest packages are around 15 lacs and the lowest packages are around 3 lacs. The college is tied up with Tata Consultancy Services. Other companies like EY, Goldman Sachs, and Deloitte hire students. The internship opportunities provided by the campus are quite low but students usually get their paid internship off campus. The top roles offered in my course would be analyst, roles related to BPS or accountant and tax roles.
Infrastructure: The college campus is comparatively quite small. We do have great infrastructure within the space. There is Wi-Fi provided to the students. The college has two auditoriums, Loyola Hall and the Xavier Hall. There is a spacious library in the basement and also we have a football ground and a basketball ground.
Faculty: The teaching faculty at SCC is really good. Some experienced teachers have good subject matter knowledge. The course curriculum is related and specific integrated courses like ACCA and CMA are very relevant in the job market. The semester exams are not very difficult and SJCC is the best place for students who are pursuing a professional course alongside their degree.
Other: I chose the scores because I felt that it has an industrial-relevant syllabus and teaching. I feel that the course must revise its syllabus regularly and make it updated so that we do not have to study outdated syllabi. Events and the fests are quite okay. Scholarships provided for students in need are a really good initiative by the college.

Diverse & friendly crowd, Perfect balance between cultural & educational activities.
Placements: The placements are great in the college. KOMG was the top recruiter for this year. 90% of students who went for placement got placed with an average of 10 lacs per annum package. Big 4 companies can be expected during the placement interviews. Other major recruiter for the course was TATA. Coming to internships, the college helps students to its best capabilities in finding internships, a lot of students opt for being summer intern or work in startups.
Infrastructure: The college when compared with other colleges in Bangalore does not have a huge campus. However, the classrooms are well-equipped and do their job. The canteen provides good food. Library and lab facilities are also available. A Wi-Fi is provided to all students who can use it to access information while on the campus.
Faculty: The syllabus when compared to regular B.Com programme is harder, however, it's not impossible and can be easily cleared with consistent effort. The staff consists of both experienced and newly joint lecturers. A few of them are great at handling the class and making sure everyone understands while a few more are still figuring things out. Coming to the end semester exams, the exam consists of a 60 marks component while CIA compromise the other 40. It is easy to clear provided you have been working for it. The passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I started this course right after the pandemic ended, that is the 2021 batch. The college has gone back to offline functioning and resumed its activities like usual. The feasting culture is very evident with some or the other event always happening. The crowd is a great mix from people all over India and culture.

They encourage learning while participating in and exploring various domains and interests one might have. Various companies like EY, Deloitte, and GS come to our college for placements. They have provided a variety of courses with relevant course material. They also encourage internships and activities that enhance professionalism in students.
Infrastructure: Located right in the Central Business District, Bangalore attracts students from all across the city and country too. It has a ground, a library, a canteen, a basketball court, a lab, a gym, and other facilities and is well-equipped. Our college is reputed for its encouragement in the fields of sports, arts, culture, etc. There's ample space to pursue hobbies such as theatre, with auditoriums, seminar halls, conference rooms, etc.
Faculty: It provides opportunities for various certificate courses. Our college organises time-to-time workshops and seminars to complement the courses taken. The teachers at our college are very helpful. Course material for industry integration could be improved, but certain topics are interesting. Class discussions are fun.
Other: Our college gives the most exemplary fest experiences. There are endless opportunities to explore and try different activities and skills at the myriad associations and clubs present at this college. Quite honestly, it is the best part of this college. There are many opportunities for scholarships and exchange programmes. There are many ample avenues for networking through events organised by the college.
