Excellent mathematics department.

Placements: According to Statistics 70-80% of students were placed in my course. The average packages offered were 1-2 LPM. Top recruiters were D. E. Shaw, Amazon, Accenture, TCS. Around 90% students get an internship easily after graduation. Roles offered are analyst, consultancy, research etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities available are satisfactory. The university is an old one and hence the infrastructure is also old. However, over the years they have expanded the blocks and increased the number of classrooms. Wi-Fi is good in the library. Classrooms are top-notch with fans and running projectors. In my opinion, the library should be bigger and provide more reference books as well as study space, with faster Wi-Fi, as a lot of students are present, especially during exams period. The food available at the canteen is good and priced decently, affordable for students. Medical facilities are not that great. The sports department is good however the grounds and courts should be improved significantly for football, cricket, and volleyball. The basketball court is very good and sports faculty is experienced.

Faculty: The teachers in the mathematics department are all highly qualified, Ph.D. teachers. The experience and knowledge they hold are immense and all of them are very understanding. The Statistics department is satisfactory, faculty is highly educated. The course is beneficiary for students looking for jobs in research, consultancy, or analytics in data Science. Semesters are manageable. The final year is particularly challenging, and term paper submission is also a good experience.

Our college life is excellent.

Placements: Around 30-40% of students are placed in this course. It is a very booming course as it has a lot of demand and scope in this generation. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 10 LPA. Almost 40% of students get internships in our course in various companies. The top roles offered in this course is data scientist, big data analyst, data analyst, and various other roles.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The hostel is also very good. It provides Wi-Fi, laboratories, classrooms, a library, and a canteen. The canteen is affordable and the food quality is good. Our college supports sports and it gives importance to sports as they give to education.

Faculty: In this college, some are very professional and very good, but some are not up to the mark. The teaching quality is qualified and knowledgeable but it differs from teacher to teacher. Some are very good when it comes to teaching students. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester-end exam is easy-moderate, and the pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course, because I understood that this is a booming subject and has a lot of developing scope and the future is good for it. I wish students get more training and make students skill rather than going into the subject deeply. The events and fests are almost a daily thing in this college. Some kind of extracurricular activities or events would be held daily somewhere on the campus.
