The campus placement in this college is not that good as the subjects thought are not mostly meant for that purpose and are meant for further studies.

B.A. in History, Economics and Political Science - Batch of 2027
4.6
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Absolutely valuable, faculty, college life and everything is good.
Placements: This course offers really good placement offers from various companies. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, and even the government companies offer placements. Roles like IPS offices, IAS offices, and many more. The college itself helps students find placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really great, and each department is highly well-maintained. Students can use the Wi-Fi. Classrooms as per their need. The library has 2 divisions, where 1 is a digital library, and the other is a very big library full of books. The hostel facilities are good, and the canteen is really affordable. There are facilities for everything like sports, games, medical, and so on.
Faculty: Faculty is really helpful. Each one of them is specialized in their own subjects. The teaching is really good. This course is definitely relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester examinations are difficult sometimes, especially in the 2nd year, it's hectic to understand and write exams, but the college criteria is 40% overall to pass.

M.Sc. in Microbiology - Batch of 2026

Beautiful with brains. As the campus is also really nice, and teaching is also really good.
Placements: Placement is not great for M.Sc. microbiology. Very few seniors have gotten in through it, not many. But this time, there are a few more companies that they have referred. If it comes, we will all be placed. But it's improving as the year progresses, so we think we will get a good placement.
Infrastructure: It's a very good campus, we have good education facilities like a really good library, we have a gym, an indoor badminton court, a basketball court, and a football ground, and we have a really good canteen. Medical facility is also good. Hostel is also very nice. Overall, the lab and class are well-maintained and good.
Faculty: Faculty is really good, they are very experienced, and they teach really well. Curriculum is balanced with both extracurricular activities and studies, and we will have time for exams, which are well done. There are no complaints about the teaching.
Other: It's a really good campus and I personally have no other addition.

BBA in Administration Strategic Finance - Batch of 2025
3.2
2Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good college with good faculty and curriculum but disappointed with placements.
Placements: Regarding placements, they are below average. There are random roles irrelevant to the curriculum like sales, teaching, and music for a business student. The salary is around Rs. 25,000. The highest is Rs. 40,000 per month. The highest salary placements contain 7 rounds of assessments for placement and interview. Only 1 company from the big 4 EY hires for a tax analyst role and offers a salary of around Rs. 27,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are really spacious, ventilated, and well-lit. There is Wi-Fi in every class. There are 4 labs. We have 2 canteens. Hostels are also available for boys. I have a friend staying in the hostel. It provides great food. We have a big ground and a library where we can go to study or do our assignments or projects or checkout books the library has to offer. Food in both canteens is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are available after hours to help students with doubts or anything The teaching quality is really good. Semester exams are easy and good. We have to submit 2 assignments for 10 marks. Each test is for 25 marks and an end-semester exam is for 60 marks. The course does make students industry-ready. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course because of the main focus on finance and it offers coaching and materials for US CMA examinations. I think the material provided could be a little better but works. The coaching and materials are from smiles. Normal subject teachers are wonderful. Campus surroundings are good with greenery and all necessities in every corner. Fests aren't that great. They are too crowded and not that good quality.

MSW in Medical and Psychiatry - Batch of 2027

A supportive campus with strong academics and practical learning.
Placements: As a student of St. Joseph University, I found the placement experience to be a mix of opportunities and challenges. The university's placement cell is quite active and well-structured, organizing workshops on resume building, communication skills, and aptitude tests, which really helped me feel more confident.
Infrastructure: The university offers well-equipped classrooms, labs, and a rich library for academics. The hostels are clean, comfortable, and community-friendly, with average food. The hostel curfew is 6 p.m. Overall, the infrastructure effectively supports both learning and
Faculty: The MSW program at St. Joseph University is designed to blend academic learning with professional exposure. The faculty is one of the strongest aspects of the course. Most of them have not only academic qualifications but also years of field experience in areas like social work practice, counseling, community development, and NGO management.

M.A. in Economics - Batch of 2024

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
It is value for money and worth it. Teaching is excellent.
Placements: Basically, the university B.Com program is now an autonomous college affiliated with the university. There were many opportunities for placements for students. Campus placements were held every year. Students from any department of the college, such as mathematics, chemistry, and commerce were invited. We had the possibility of being selected as employees. They will get placement opportunities through recruiting agencies like Vedanta, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: College was excellent in terms of infrastructure. St. Joseph's College is now a university. So they provided all the basic and advanced facilities required for the students. We had a library that the students could access at any time.
Faculty: The curriculum was not rigorous. Faculty members were very approachable, well-qualified, and helpful. The course curriculum was well-planned and revised regularly. College provided a great experience, and the only problem was placement at college. Faculty members were quite good.
Other: Teaching was good here. It was value for money.

B.A. in International Relations and Peace Studies, Journalism and Public Policy Timings - Batch of 2024

Apart from admin, everything is good.
Placements: As far as I know for placements, our batch as one from the humanities school did not receive many opportunities from the college while we did receive premium LinkedIn accounts. Most of my batchmates went for higher studies in other institutions while the rest found work back home or in the city through their own efforts or connections via their internships. About 40% of our batch had an internship of some kind or the other for newspapers, content writing, marketing or institutions like NIAS (for IR or public policy focus).
Infrastructure: For our course, we were placed in classrooms and media labs for newsroom simulation. These spaces were aptly equipped though at times, our own classrooms were crowded considering we had about 75-80 students for a subject. Food was available in two canteens, one right outside the humanities building (which also had a sick room) and one was the magis canteen which had a whole lot of other options in an affordable range. Magis canteen was right next to the sports field, in the same building with an indoor basketball court and shower rooms for athletes.
Faculty: Professors were really helpful and insightful. The course was also very enjoyable. Though foreign languages were seen as a challenge it was a welcome change for me as it helped me improve my proficiency in a new language (they offer German and French). The course did loads to help us make industry-ready with newsroom simulations, policy labs, and research training + fact-finding for international relations and conflict studies. Semester exams were of an appropriate level for our course and could be passed via expressing enough understanding of the subject matter.
Other: I chose this course because it was the only college that offered this combination that year and I wished to study journalism alongside IR and conflict studies. I wish however that the management could have handled things better. Because of attendance shortage, they held back half of the student population and then they introduced them to a lot of fees to get their degree from then onwards. My advice was to not miss a single class, medical reasons did not qualify as reasons enough to be absent. Only by showing a hospital admittance record, you could be excused.
