M.Sc. Botany 2024 passout at st. Thomas college.
Placements: It's a full-time two-year course, and we were allowed to work as an intern from the second year. As we were allowed to work in various laboratories and to be involved in research, we won't get any stipend in such internships. Based on such experience, we may be able to get various offers at the end of the course.
Infrastructure: Mostly laboratories pave a major path in our full-time two-year program. We have no time to play sports apart from practical experimentations. Also, we don't have sports areas to play. But while coming to food, they preferred to cook nutritious foods in a healthy way. To avoid food scarcity, they cook them in extra quantities.
Faculty: I had done my Bachelors in Botany at Tamil Nadu. Now I had chosen Masters in Botany at St. Thomas College. Based on my mother's recommendation, I had chosen this field, and my mother took two years to choose this college. Our teachers experimentally explain all the concepts, which helps us to remember the concepts at any time.

Our college, Thrissur, provides a well-rounded infrastructure.
Placements: Approximately 90% of the students were placed in various courses offered by the college. The highest salary package offered was around INR 13.8 LPA. The lowest salary package was about INR 1.9 LPA and the average salary package ranged between INR 3 to 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HDFC bank, and Asian Paints. Approximately 80% of the students secured internships through college’s placements cell.
Infrastructure: The college library is one of the largest and the oldest in Kerala, housing over 100000 books across various disciplines. All the departments have WiFi-enabled classrooms equipped with projectors, LED televisions, and smart boards. The college boasts well-equipped laboratories for its Science departments, meeting current academic and research needs. The college provides hostel accommodations for male and female students. The mess and the canteen provide a variety of food options with reviews suggesting the quality is satisfactory. The students have access to nutritious meals at reasonable prices. The college’s sports infrastructure is robust, featuring both indoor and outdoor stadiums.
Faculty: The faculty at St. Thomas' College in Thrissur is usually well-regarded. According to the reviews, the teachers are competent, qualified, and helpful. Everything is fine and in favor of every aspect. The first step is to take a decision on your side.
Placements: There are average placements. About 45% students got offered
Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month. Drug companies visit the college. There are some middle-level companies and some high-profile companies that visit the college. Here you get the placements very easily if you are determined about your future and business.
Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure. You can't say bad. The campus is spread across a 20-acre area in which many facilities are available for the best. On campus also, a free Wi-Fi facility is available which can be used in the classrooms as well. The labs are very modern, and all the requirements are available that you need during the practical work.
Faculty: The faculty are very good and well-experienced. They are very helpful and are always available for your doubts. They also teache about your daily problems, and you can also say that they even teach apart from the books. Their teaching methods are not good, but you can understand.
Other: This is a very good college. They are very helpful, and you should come and see how the students and teacher bonds are shown. The project work is given, but the teachers help as if the project is theirs. I have never seen such responsibility. So please, you should come and talk with our respectable faculty.

Placements: The highest average package offered in this course is 1 Lacs to 2 Lacs and the lowest package offered in this course is 50 thousand to 75 thousand and the average package offered in this course is 60 thousand which is not much good for students and the percentage of students were placed from this course was also only 39%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course was good and the also the facilities provided by the hostel was impressive as it includes a good quality healthy and hygienic food for students and medical facilities like first aid for students and for entertainment purpose sports and games facilities are also provided.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, knowledgeable and experienced but their behaviour towards students was not much good as they just explain the subject roughly and the teaching quality was also not impressive and the passing percentage of the semester exam was only 45%which was not good.
