All about ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE RANCHI in brief .

Placements: In my course, I.e., B.Sc. Statistics, there is no on-campus placement. However, there are placements for B.Com. Accounts Hons. and BBA. The average placement of these courses is 2–3 LPA. But you can get off-campus placement if you have good marks and know all the basics of your course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of St. . XAVIER'S COLLEGE RANCHI is very nice. You will get the vibe of British rule when you see the infrastructure. The whole campus is Wi-Fi-enabled. There is one common library, and there are other libraries department-wise. It means every department has its own library, from which you can get the books.

Faculty: All the faculty are very experienced, and they are humble too. They are always ready to help you and solve your doubts. B.Sc. Statistics is an emerging course. It has many scopes. The semester exams are always conducted on time, and they are not too hard. If you solve PYQs, then you can easily pass the exams.

Insight of Xavier's College, Ranchi.

Placements: Students must have at least 50 percent in Maths in 12th boards. There are not many placements in this course. But some students got placed from B.Sc. Statistics with the highest package of 6 lac and the lowest of 3 from Wipro. At most, 20 percent got internships from NSSO. There are many roles one could get like data analyst or data management.

Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi connection overall campus. We have a central library having a large number of books, and there are many departmental libraries for different departments. We have a hostel facility but only for SC ST students. The hostel provides good quality food with different food options changing weekly.

Faculty: Teachers are very skilled, qualified, and very helpful. You can ask any questions at any time. They always help you with a smile on your face. Our curriculum follows the syllabus of Ranchi University, focusing more on theory parts than practical work but current faculty members are assuring that practical work won't be affected by this.

Other: I personally selected this course because there is so much scope for this course. Today's world is a world of data, so I personally thought to pursue Statistics. I personally think that under Statistics, more practical and software study should be included so that we can compete with the technical world. Our college organizes a fest every year in the month between May to June and a sports day which lasts 3 days. OBCs, SC, and ST can apply for scholarships and can get up to 40000 as a scholarship.
