Our college is the very best college in the city.

Placements: I am currently a final year biotechnology student at Amity University Jharkhand. We were offered jobs from few companies but they were mainly software companies not much of the core biotech or food industry. For a student graduating in biotech a job in the core company is a must.

Infrastructure: Currently, the college is being run from a temporary building in the middle of the town. But I strongly believe that in four years of its establishment that campus could have been constructed and well started. I will look forward to the promise that will be fulfilled in the coming batches.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good and it helps a student in uplifting their knowledge. Apart from the basic foreign language behavioral Science and communication skills are taught which is beneficial in leading a successful life. Faculty members are well qualified and they teach well.

Other: Biotechnology is a very interesting subject to choose for those students who have an interest in studying biology in the competitive technology-based era.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, average placements, really good infrastructure .

Placements: If we talk about placements of biotechnology in amity University Jharkhand that is not very great. Students are suggested to complete their Masters then they have a good chance. But teachers keep on motivating for a better chance after course completion.

Infrastructure: When we talk about the infrastructure that is really very good. No complain you can go for it without worry. Campus is clean facilities are good. Labs are provided for practicing. Badminton court, auditorium, canteen, Library everything here is well maintained.

Faculty: Faculty for B.Sc. biotechnology in amity University Jharkhand is very good. Teachers are very serious. Exams are conducted regularly with strictness. Labs are conducted regularly for practicing. 33% is the minimum marks for passing aur exams with 75% attendance mandatory for sitting in the exams.

Other: I choose this course due to my interest in bio. Amity is a good option for biotechnology. The campus life here is amazing in short we balance fun and academics together.

Satisfied with the faculty. Placements were good in 2023. It has a beautiful campus.

Placements: The highest package offered is 46.9 LPA for the B.Tech CSE student in 2023. In 2023, 86 percent of students got placements. In biotechnology, the package offered is 47 LPA. In 2025, the highest package offered is 24 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, TCS, Flipkart, and Cognizant. The university offers a 100% internship rate.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are very comfortable and big. Chairs, desks, and everything are comfortable. Labs have all facilities. The library is quite huge, and it has comfortable chairs. We can issue books anytime. It's pretty nice. The hostel rooms are nice. The only problem is that sometimes it comes with poor water management. Hot water is sometimes not available for bathing. But overall, everything is good. Wardens are helpful.

Faculty: In the biotechnology department, teachers are very good. Professors are above average. Exams are quite difficult, but teachers help us a lot with them. Notes provided by teachers are enough to ace an exam. The course curriculum is quite relevant. Teachers explain the topic quite nicely and help the slow students.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in research. Our professors help us a lot with it. They involve students in research programs and help them with their papers. It is all very helpful for students. The thing that could get better is that the class timings are quite long. Many events and fests are organised. It's a good opportunity to participate and increase our experience and networking.

Brief idea about Amity University, Ranchi.

Placements: Placements are generally high in management, mass communication, and IT courses. Placements in other courses are generally less compared to these courses otherwise, placements are not that bad. Amity University Ranchi generally reports high placement rates, with figures ranging from 60% to 80% depending on the course and student performance.

Infrastructure: Whole campus has centralized AC. Library, classroom, and labs are well-equipped. Whiteboards are present in the class along with a projector and a microphone for giving presentation. Library is present on 2nd floor and it's huge with all the books you need for your course. I have never bought a single book because I can issue any book I want from the library.

Faculty: Course curriculum is excellent. Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, except for few but that depends on your personal experience and learning capability. Course curriculum is not very hard, and it gives students knowledge about industry and physical world. Semester exams are easy and conceptual. Teachers give marks not for filling the pages but for writing short and brief conceptual answers.

Other: I chose this course because I was always very interested in biotechnology field. I think biotech is a rising field and it will be of huge value in the future. This course is fun and learning intensive. This college only lacks one thing, and that is playground. There is no huge playground for football, cricket, and other outdoor games. There are 2 badminton and 2 basketball courts on campus which are not very big but it's okay. There are more than 7-8 fests in a year at the college done by different departments.
