About Xavier College, Ranchi.
Placements: Only a few students got placed in this course. Rs 1-3 lakhs package was offered in my college.
Infrastructure: Labs are so good that there are so many students which students can't have only for lab practicals provided by the teacher. The classroom is fully occupied with tables and fans and use chalks to the write-on the blackboard. The library is so big that there is nothing to read extra except for college books.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful if you are facing difficulty in understanding then they will say to take TC directly. Semester exams are really good in and we can easily pass in the semester exams but sometimes the question is set so that it hard to pass but you can get good percentage.

It is the best college in Ranchi.
Placements: About 80%of the students are highly placed. The average salary package offered ranges from 2-50 LPA. Private banks and companies visit the college to recruit students. Internships are also highly paid and given the best assistance. In our course, they taught us academics along with business ideas.
Infrastructure: Our hostel has a huge space as well as sanitation. Cleanliness is the first priority. Our hostel included a mini library with free Wi-Fi and a steady environment. The quality of the food served in a mess is above average. A variety of things are cooked each day, and among all, Sunday was special.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified academically and socially. They have unique teaching techniques which inspired us a lot to study in-depth. The course curriculum is designed for the better benefit of students. The difficulty level of semester exams is high. Examiner used to judge our capabilities by adding some most twisted questions.
Other: It was our college where I learned the basics of living. Events, a fest, gatherings, and parties allowed me to escape from an introverted person to an extrovert. It was the best course of life I have ever done.

The college has good infrastructure, facilities and environment.
Placements: The course curriculum is inclined more towards mathematics which targets to enable students for building a career in higher studies in mathematics. The course curriculum is not placement-oriented, so the placements are not that great. But most of the students of my batch, including myself, did very well in higher studies. To be precise, many of my classmates entered IITs, NITs and IIMs after graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best in Jharkhand in almost every aspect. It has a very good central library with state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, every department has a separate library, which is completely dedicated to the concerned subject.
Faculty: Compared to the other colleges in Jharkhand, the facilities in our college are far better. I am not giving it five stars because it is not at par with some of the good colleges in India. But the teachers are very helpful. As mentioned earlier, the curriculum of mathematics is designed to enable the students for higher studies. Thus, the students are not trained to work in industries.

It is the best college in Jharkhand.
Placements: Vocational courses are offered with placements. Placements from other courses are not significant. TCS was one of the recruiters. Only 2-3 students out of 100 got placements. Since our course was theory-based, many of us are doing a PhD from top IITs like IITB, IITD and IITKGP.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but you need to buy. If you are a regular movie watcher, then by making a group, you can buy it. Labs are good, and you get to do experiments. Classrooms are good and big. The library is sufficiently big, and the new canteen is also superb.
Faculty: Teachers are definitely helpful, and they are qualified also. Faculty members in this college are good. The course curriculum is good. Since our course was not vocational, it was more of theory than application. So, it would not make us industry-ready.
Other: It is the best college in Jharkhand.

A college where knowledge flows.
Placements: There is no placement system for this course. This course is basically designed for providing knowledge and support pupils for further studies. A course which gives practical knowledge with the theoretical part. Placement is yet a major concern for this.
Infrastructure: Buildings is designed in English Style keeping all the requirements in mind. A campus which provides a peaceful environment while studying and boisterous campus when it comes to sports where every sports ground is well developed and maintained. The hostel is average.
Faculty: Highly qualified Faculty. This course has been the top ranked courses for a long time in recent years and the credit goes to the faculty members for their dedication to their duties as well as the students who choose to take steps designed by their teachers with full belief.

Not up to the mark as according to fees.
Placements: The minimum percentage required for admission in graduation course is 55% and relaxation of 5% to SC and ST. Salary varies from 2.5 Lacs to 4 Lacs pa I. e. 3 Lacs on an average. Top recruiting companies of my course are airline companies like Indigo, Air India and in Teaching. Top role offered is of accountant, professor. The highest package offered was 4lakhs and the lowest is 2.5 Lacs. About 20% of students get to do internship in companies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms of my department is finished with Wi-Fi, projector, green boards, white boards. The department offers online and offline library and classroom is having 24 hrs. electricity. Hostel offers 3 times foods, the quality of food is not up to the mark and sports and medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they take regular classes, they are well qualified and obviously knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course is somewhat relevant to daily life and it makes us aware about our environment too by teaching environmental Science. My course make students ready for accounts and calculations.
Other: I choose this just because of my interest the best thing is it offers various opportunities. The syllabus of course can be made more related to daily uses. College organises fests every year and other Co curricular activities. It offers scholarship to SC ST and OBCs.

The college has good infrastructure and offers an open and modern environment.
Placements: Some major IT companies visit the campus for placements. The process of placements is a direct interview. But, the fact is that placements are useless. Around 8-10 students enjoyed placements with an average salary of Rs.12,000 per month. Companies like Tata, Mahindra, Cisco and some marketing companies visited the campus for placements. There are no internships from college. There is a placement cell in the college, and it is useful.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, separate labs for every department, large classrooms, a clinic and playgrounds. Labs are spacious and have all the equipment. The canteen is awesome. You'll get every type of food over there. Only boys' hostel facility is available on the campus. It was pleasant there during my tenure.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are friendly and knowledgeable. They are strict about discipline. They used to teach effectively considering every student. The student to faculty ratio is 45:1. We got industry exposure once in the whole tenure. We were taken to Pune. The course curriculum was excellent and very useful.
Other: The college organises many events such as annual day, Xavier's Day, sports tournaments etc. Around 10,000 students are there in college. There is a scholarship programme for backward class students.

Satisfied because of its faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Placement of this college is not upto mark, but students with deep knowledge get placed in good companies. Many companies like tcs, wipro, cognizant. Visit the campus for recruiting student but only few students get placed. Especially the students of B.Sc. Mathematics opt for higher studies they does't rely on placement. But overall the college does't provide placement upto mark.
Infrastructure: This college is situated in center of the city. It's campus is quite large. Each department has its own library and laboratory in addition to the central library. Wi-Fi is accessible in whole campus. It also held tournament of almost every sport. Also there are 3 canteens in college campus. Overall its infrastructure is average.
Faculty: Teacher is to student ratio of maths department is about 1:20, almost every teacher are well qualified and they are very helpful in nature. Their teaching methods are quite impressive, but in terms of attendance they never compromise as it is must for a student to fulfill 75% attendance.
