About Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University:

Placements: There is no concept of placements in our university. After completing the course, students prefer to enroll in M.Sc. in Forensic Science and prepare for the NET/JRF exams. Others start preparing for government exams like UPSC, SSC, and Banking.

Infrastructure: The university does not provide any hostels. Students find rooms nearby or live in PG accommodations. However, the faculty members are supportive. They are always ready to assist students in difficult situations. We also have a library on campus. Unfortunately, the laboratory facilities are inadequate. The chemicals in our labs are even expired.

Faculty: The faculty members are sufficiently skilled and helpful. They possess extensive knowledge. The course curriculum is also well-structured. All semester exams were conducted smoothly and on time. Additionally, we received our results promptly. If you have a genuine passion for Forensics, pursuing a B.Sc. in Natural Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology followed by an M.Sc. in Forensic Science would be a better career path.

Other: I chose this course because completing any course from Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University earns additional marks in the Police Constable/SI exams conducted by JPSC exclusively for Jharkhand students. I aspire to join the police forces, making this an ideal choice for me.

Review of Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University.

Placements: There are no placements in our course. There are no top recruiting companies that visit our campus for recruitment. There is also no placement cell. Almost 30% of students got internships in CID and SFSL.

Infrastructure: Our campus is small. Classrooms are good, and Wi-Fi facilities are only available in the computer laboratory. The library is very good. There is no hostel. Mess facilities are also not available on campus. Sports and games are not good.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They also provide practical knowledge that will be useful in the industry. Semester exams are average, and the pass percentage is 46%. The end-semester is worth 50 marks, and it's 70 for non-practical subjects.

Other: This course helps us solve crime cases. They should improve the infrastructure, laboratories, and sports facilities. Events like freshers' day, annual functions, etc., are conducted.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities etc.

Placements: There is no placement record in both UG and PG courses. They'll provide internship opportunities in State forensic Science laboratory and central bureau of investigation etc. As per my knowledge, there is no placement offered in any courses provided by the University. There is a lack of industrial exposure to students.

Infrastructure: There is basic infrastructure, ground facilities, Wi-Fi, canteen, laboratory facilities, library etc. There is no such hostel facility provided by University in their campus. But, you can find hostels, PG, rented flats in nearby areas like kutchery chowk, Lalpur, ratu road chowk etc. It's average cost is about (5000-8000), as per the facilities and convince.

Faculty: They provide good course and curriculum regarding this course. But, there is a lack of Ph.D faculty, lab equipment etc. They provide an average teaching quality. Course curriculum is related to industrial exposure, but there is a lack of placements in any courses provided by JRSU. Semesters are quite normal, if you study accordingly you'll get good marks.

Other: I opted this course because of huge interest in medical field. There's good course curriculum, but there is a lack of well-equipped instruments etc.

I am satisfied with the college and its infrastructure.

Placements: In our college, there are no campus placements. Students apply on their own in their respective fields to companies. Students get knowledge from teachers of their respective courses about their internships. There is an internship fair that is conducted by the college. With a bachelor's in forensic science, you get a chance to get a job in different forensic science laboratories in other states.

Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure and development for all courses. There is high-speed Wi-Fi for labs and other activities. Classrooms are so systematic. There is a very good library where students get the study materials for their courses. There is no hostel facility but there are many private hostels available in the area.

Faculty: All faculty members are highly educated. The teaching quality of the college is very good. There are many departments that are led by facilities. Semester exams are too difficult. If you are well prepared then you will qualify for good marks.

The course is awesome, but campus life is not so good.

Placements: The placements are provided only for bachelor's of cybersecurity students and not for other branches. Sometimes, other branches like political science, and business and security management students get placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The campus is very small, but it is temporary, and the new campus of 200 acres is under construction. Air-conditioned classrooms, hygiene and clean washrooms, a library with all the books, weekly magazines and journals are available. There is no hostel, so you have to go for a private one in the nearby area.

Faculty: The faculty members are very polite and good. All are very dedicated to completing the syllabus. They teach in both English and Hindi languages. They also conduct extra classes if you missed any class previously (at your request).

Other: Events are rare here. Some cultural events and activities like debates, and other competitions are organised from time to time.

Review of Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University.

Placements: There is a special government scheme for placements of students. Our university offers courses which are related to security and law. About 10% of the students got placed from our college. As it is a new college, there is the first batch of every course.

Infrastructure: Our university is completely residential. Yet our university's building construction was not completed, so right now there are no any facilities of hostel. On our campus, there are a highly equipped auditorium, a playground and a highly dedicated and disciplined library.

Faculty: Faculty members and course curriculum are very good here. Some of our guest faculty members are from many law enforcement agencies, and they are experts in their fields. They have lots of experience in their own field. Our university's faculty members were also very qualified and helpful.

Other: We get the opportunity to directly interact with government professionals for training and internships.

The campus is small, but it is government-run. The fees are pretty decent and affordable.

Placements: The college doesn’t provide any placements for the Bachelor’s degree since at present B.Sc. in Forensics is not eligible for job vacancies at FSL in certain states, but this policy is going to be changed they are working on it. And for internships, we do get many internship opportunities in many labs, police stations, and courts.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi at the university doesn’t work very well; sometimes the network on your own phones will not work. The library is decent with centralized AC, but staff do not switch it on most of the time. Classrooms also have centralized ACs, but they haven’t worked for 6 months, the gas in the AC has finished, and the authorities are not doing the job to fix that.

Faculty: Teachers are decent. It depends on the student’s behavior whether teachers will help you or not. The course will make you ready for the labs, but at an intermediate level, not expert. Exams happen every 6 months, and before that, we have a mid-semester test which we have to pass to be able to sit in the final examination.
