A college with many placement opportunities, but the placements are average.
Placements: Our college provides great placement opportunities for the students who score well in academics. However, if the academic performance is not good, then the students will only be offered profiles in the sales sector. Our college is better when compared to other colleges regarding job security. The average salary package offered is around 7-8 LPA. Some companies offered a salary package of around 9 LPA. I would recommend you to talk with some alumni while taking your decision to join in this college. If you find a better option than this college, then you can go with that college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The college doesn't have modern infrastructure. You get ample of opportunities to survive and utilise your time on the campus. The college provides good gym facilities. The college also has a well-maintained swimming pool. Hostels were pretty decent with a well-equipped Wi-Fi facility, but the speed of the Wi-Fi is very low. We are the only department to have our own campus, while the rest of the courses will share their campus space.
Faculty: Our college is an excellent place to learn. The college considers the finance part of the course as a major part and operations part as the minor part, but the faculty members and curriculum have a different version of the story to say. Our college's academic cell keeps on working on the current topics and trends. It generally helps to gain certain knowledge like GST, financial modelling, and investment banking, etc.

An honest opinion of a B-School where students learn and grow personally and professionally.
Placements: Our college has good placements records since its inception in the year 1993. In 2017, the average salary package offered was 9 LPA. Major companies come from the BFSI sector; HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank to name a few. Good companies like Deloitte and Godrej from the manufacturing and consulting sector also visit the college to hire the students. The placements season starts in November, and the college has 100% placements for the last ten years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The campus is small but is good for 600 students. The swimming pool and gym are the best part of the college, except for the academic block. The academic block is a two-storeyed building which has all the classrooms, two computer labs, library, and different departments within three floors. Food in the mess is good, and there a lot of varieties. The hostel is a good place to live where you make friends as well as memories.
Faculty: The external faculty members of SIMS are amazing, and people from different fields with vast experience have much to teach the students. Their real-life experiences and examples make the theory very relatable and easy to understand. Also, the in-house faculty members are very good and are available in the college 24*7 to help and guide the students.
Other: There are a lot of managerial and cultural events which help students to develop their overall personality. Every year, a management fest named Barcode and a cultural fest named Orion are organised in the college with varieties of events covering all the aspects of a 360-degree growth parameter. Also, there are numerous sports activities and state and national level tournaments that give students full-fledged opportunities to learn, grow, and prove their talents.

Review of sims as observed in the last two years.
Placements: Placements are good if consider ROI as a factor. Profiles of the companies coming in the first week are good, after that profiles are usually sales for marketing. Same goes for finance. The highest package was for Google which came for HR (15.39 LPA) and finiq for finance (15+ LPA). The average package for top 150 students was 10.5 LPA, which is good considering fees of 9 lacs. Batch strength is 300. Companies which came on campus were, Infosys, bank of America, Deloitte, credit Suisse, Wipro, Accenture, honey well, Marsh, godigit, Tata aig, hdfc bank, great place to work, tetrapak, gati, ICICI Bank, sbilife, ICICI Lombard, virtusa, verity, earlysalary, wns, gartner, Bata, jlt, vlcc, etc. Sims has a dedicated placement cell. It's very efficient and effective. There were numerous companies for internship too. Most of them were same mentioned above.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise college is small with a campus of around 4 acres. There one academic block, housing one auditorium of capacity 400. There are 4 hostels, two for girls and boys each. One health and fitness centre, with modern gym and a swimming pool (25mtrs length). Classroom do not have ACs. There two complabs.
Faculty: Sims is a MBA college Visiting Faculty is extremely good. They come with good number of years of experience from the corporate. Some Permanent faculty is also ex corporates, coming from well known corporates and MNCs. Teaching pedagogy is usually ppts, case studies only. Exams are in the 60:40 ratio with 60 marks for the internals. It's compulsory to have 90% attendance to sit in the placements. Faculty for marketing, finance, ops is really good. Don't know much about her. We have marketing/operations/finance/hr as major. With which you can take any of them as minors. For example marketing major and finance minor or operations major and marketing minor. There is provision of taking finance core and hr core, where all the 12 subjects the semester will be from finance or hr. Whereas in major minor combination we get 5/6 subjects of major specialisation and 3 subjects of. Minor. 3/4 subjects common. College follows a semester system.
Other: Major events are barcode which is managerial event and orion which is a cultural event.

Our college is good for defence personnel students. ROI is good compared to other colleges.
Placements: Senior batch students got placed in good companies like Credit Suisse, Yes Bank, Bank of America, Infosys, etc. They offered the average salary package around 8 LPA, and the maximum package offered was 15 LPA. The summer placements are good for marketing students as more companies visit the campus and offer sales and marketing profiles to placed students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average as the Wi-Fi connectivity in our college is not that good. The computer labs are well-occupied with Bloomberg terminals, and there are around 120 computers. The library is well-equipped with good books and case studies along with online book bank.
Faculty: The faculty members in the college are not that good, but guest faculty members who have some industry experience are good at explaining the concepts. They have a better view of the company culture and know the requirement of the market. Every year, the course curriculum gets updated, but it is not related to industry standard.
Other: Our college organises events like Barcode and Orion for managerial games.

Good placements, faculty, infrastructure, leisure, and management.
Placements: The placements were very good for my batch with around 90% students placed. The highest package was around 16 LPA. The average package was around 6-7 LPA. The average package was around 10 LPA. Multiple companies from different sectors offering different roles visited the college. Regarding internships, almost every person who opted for the internship got placed.
Infrastructure: Most of the academic facilities were available including good classrooms, a decent Wi-Fi speed, a huge library, proper labs. the hostel rooms were average. Good indoor games facilities, a bit less of outdoor sports facilities but a well-maintained swimming pool and gym were available.
Faculty: The faculty is undoubtedly qualified, knowledgeable, and practical. Industry exposure was a little less though. Teaching aids -presentations, sessions, role-plays, lectures, etc. Good learning atmosphere. The college has a good mix of experienced students and those pursuing MBA directly after graduation.
Other: A very good college. Excellent ROI on the fees given. Very hard working placement cell which aims to provide the best companies on campus. If you put in good efforts, you are bound to get a good placement. The fee paid is much lesser than most of the MBA colleges yet the returns are much more. I strongly suggest this college to everyone who is focussed on getting a good corporate exposure. The faculty is very helpful. the seniors also give good mentorship and guide you well. This is a good place to learn, make good friends and connections, to get a good placement, and to make you competitive in the tough corporate environment.

Hello, Admissions to all institutes under Symbiosis International University i.e. SIBM, SCMHRD, SIIB, etc are possible via the SNAP exam only. No other exam scores are accepted.
