Good college for who loves GIS and remote sensing.
Placements: Placements are not that good. But if you try by yourself companies visits the college. For internship the average salary offered is about 2 LPA and if you get permanent there then twice atleast your salary get increased. Placement cell is there. Terra drone, airpix, geospoc, Tom, here maps these are companies mostly students GOT hired.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of lavale campus is very good and environment cool but actual classes of geoinformatics are happen in model colony branch. Sports competition happens every year ta lavale campus. Classroom with prior lab are available. Hostel is also good.
Faculty: Faculty is well educated and gives the best theoretical knowledge which is necessary. The site visits are happen often. The course curriculum is very good who love geographic information system and remote sensing with programming. Survey of India visit and CME visits and geolocation of Pune to mahabaleshwar has been done.
