Symbiosis Institute of Technology intakes around 90 students to do M.Tech for various branches.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) results are used to determine admission to SIT Pune's M.Tech programme, which is then followed by counselling. Those who have taken the GATE exam can apply online at SIT Pune's official website.

SIT Pune has not released its placement data for M.Tech programmes. The institute has released its placement details and the average package in 2024 was INR 9.32 LPA, whereas the highest package was INR 50 LPA. 77.8% of students who appeared for placements got an offer in the placement rounds. The placement data consists of BTech and M.Tech data combined, candidates should make their decision accordingly.
