BTech at Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune is offered for a duration of four years, which is divided into eight semesters. The institute, under Symbiosis International (Deemed University) offers BTech in seven specialisations at the UG level. Besides, the institute offers lateral entry to some BTech specialisations. SIT Pune BTech fee 2026 ranged between INR 6.75 lakh and INR 16 lakh, with CSE being the most costly branch for admission. SIT Pune BTech Admission & Application Process 2026
Candidates interested in taking BTech admission at Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune need to apply online via SITEEE. SIT Pune admission process includes multiple steps, including registration for SITEEE, release of merit and branch allocation, fee payment and document verification. Check out the steps given below:
Step 1. Register online for SITEEE
- Go to www.sitpune.edu.in | www.set-test.org to register for SITEEE
- Fill in all required details asked in the SITEEE application form
- Click on Save and Continue
- An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number
- Choose the preferred test centre, branch, etc
- Upload relevant documents
- Pay the SITEEE exam fee of INR 2,250 per test (non-refundable and non-transferable)

STEP 2: Release of Merit List
Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune conducts SITEEE for admission to BTech courses. If you have passed JEE Main/ any other State Engineering Entrance Exam, then you are also eligible to apply. Institute considers the merit of candidates in the last qualifying exam for BTech (LE). Based on the exam score, the institute releases a merit list of selected students. Candidates who paid an extra INR 1,000 as institute charges are eligible only for merit listing.
STEP 3: Branch Allocation
Based on entrance exam scores, branch preference, and seat availability, branch allocation will be done. Students with high scores will get preference for higher-ranking branches. Selected students are required to then pay the first instalment of the course within 5 days of the merit list announcement to confirm their seat.
Step 4: Document Verification
After fee payment, SIT Pune will verify all the documents, such as category certificates, academic marksheets, etc. In case of any discrepancies, the institute reserves the right to cancel admission.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune offers admission to BTech programme based on JEE Main or any other State Engineering Entrance Exam. Aspirants who have not appeared for any of these entrance exams can appear for SITEEE. SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). It is held every year for admission to the engineering programme of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). There are three sections in the SITEEE exam: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The duration of the SITEEE examination is 60 minutes, which is one hour.
Once selected, candidates with their names on the merit list are required to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
SIT Pune offers admission to UG, PG and PhD courses based on entrance-exam. To get admission to any of the course of SIT Pune, candidates need to follow all the steps of the admission process.

SIT Pune BTech Scholarships 2026
SIT Pune provides various scholarships and financial support to economically weak candidates. Scholarships are offered on a merit basis for Indian and foreign national students. No, direct admissions are not available for various courses at Symbiosis Medical College for Women. Admissions are entirely based on the entrance test scores and the counselling rounds. All admissions for MBBS programme at SMCW will be done through NEET-UG on merit basis in the form of a rank obtain
