SLS Pune Admission 2026: Application, Eligibility, Fee & Dates

SLS Pune offers courses at UG, PG, diploma and doctoral levels in the Law stream. The school under SIU offers a five-year Integrated Law programmes - BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) at the UG level. At the PG level, the school offers a three-year LLB and a one-year LLM programme. Interested candidates can apply for the preferred course online.

SLAT, or Common Law Admission Test, is a nation-level entrance exam for admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB courses offered by the Law Schools or SLSs of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur, and SLS Hyderabad. The entrance exam is conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode for a duration of two hours. Candidates qualifying the SLAT are then shortlisted for admission to the four SLSs through a counselling process based on the collective scores of the SLAT entrance exam, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interaction (PI). The medium of the examination is English only.

SLS Pune LLM fees is INR 2.7 lakh. SLS Pune fee structure includes many components. The total fees may differ at the time of final payment due to the variables of fee structure.

For BA LLB (Hons)/ BBA LLB (Hons), candidates need to apply for both SLS Pune and SLAT registration. Aspirants need to pay the fee for both as those who will register only for SLAT will not be eligible to participate in the PI process. Candidates have to pay INR  2,250 for SLAT and INR 1,000 for the course. Below-mentioned is the application process:

To apply for the BA LLB (Hons) in Symbiosis Law School Pune candidates completes the applicatin process of  application process for SLAT. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT annually for Symbiosis Law School Pune BA LLB admission. 

To complete the application process, candidates have to register for SLAT pay the application fee, and proceed with the part two of the application form. Next, in part two of the SLAT application process, they need to select a law course among BA LLB (Hons.) BBA LLB (Hons.), BA LLB and BBA LLB.

The registration of SLAT usually starts in December. Apart from this, complete schdeule of SLAT will be released on the official website. The SLAT application process includes the following steps:

4. Fee submission.

The answer to this depends upon the qualification of candidates and how they perform in the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) exam 2026. Students who has Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade are eligible for appearing for the SLAT exam 2025. Based on the scores of SLAT, candidates are shortlisted by the SLS. The selected candidates have to then appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Further, based on the scores of SLAT, PI and WAT a merit list is drawn for admission in respective Symbiosis law schools. 

Aspirants who have passed 1-year master's degree after a 4 year UG degree or a 2 year master's degree after a 3 years bachelor's degree with at least 55% aggregate are eligible to apply for PhD programme at SLS Pune. There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for SC, ST and Differently-Abled candidates.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 from any recognised board and pursuing a 5-year Law programme in any Law college in Pune (For courses other than Law, aspirants need to be graduate from any recognised university and meet other criteria prescribed by SIU) are eligible to apply for Diploma programme offered at SLS Pune.

SLS Pune offers admissions is entrance based. However, merit is considered for Diploma courses. The final seat is alloted on the basis of scores in entrance test followed by PI, depending on the course. Check the table to know the selection requirement of SLS Pune: 

The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. Aspirants need to pass SLAT for admission to Integrated Law programmes - BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons). For LLB and LLM, candidates must pass AIAT conducted by SIU. Besides, candidates do not require passing an entrance exam for admission to Diploma programme. 

The total seats for BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) are shared across different Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS). SLS Pune has around 600 seats, while SLS Noida offers about 300 seats. SLS Hyderabad gives nearly 240 seats, and SLS Nagpur also has close to 240 seats. These numbers show how the SLAT 2026 seats are divided among all Symbiosis Law campuses.

Admission cycle for Symbiosis Law School Pune 2027 has begun. Candidates can register for admission until December 6th, 2026 for accepted entrance exam SLAT. Symbiosis Law School All India Admission Test application process includes the following steps:

Symbiosis Law accepst a total of 120 students to pursue BA LLB (Hons) programme for the academic year 2027. The seats are alloted based on the entrance exam scores. Moreover, SLS follows seat reservation policy of central government.  

Students need to make a payment of INR 1,000 for BBA LLB while filling the registration form for Symbiosis Law School, Pune. Candidates can register for more than one integrated law course. In that case, they have to pay INR 1,000 per programme. SLAT application fees is INR 2,550.

Candidates can find important details of SLAT exam on SIU website, set-test.org. The information will be mentioned on the "Important Dates" column. 

Students who are waiting for results of Class 12 exams are eligible to apply for BBA LLB admission at SLS Pune. Such students need to submit Class 12 Pass Certificate at the time of the final admission.

Fee for registration for both SLAT and SLS, Pune can be made using Credit Card / Debit Card /Net Banking / RTGS / NEFT/ Online Banking provided on the SLAT Registration Form.

For offline payment for SLS registration, students need to submit a Demand Draft of INR 1000 from any Nationalized Bank in favour of 'Symbiosis Test Secretariat' payable at Pune.

For this, they have to choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment'. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at Symbiosis Test Secretariat [STS]

Only after the confirmation of payment, the candidate is able to view his/her Admit Card.

Students need to get minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in Class 12 or equivalent to be eligible for BCom LLB admission at SLS Pune. Students need to appear for and qualify Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) and perform well in Personal Interview conducted by the institute to get admission.

There are a total of 600 seats available in integrated law programmes at Symbiosis Law School, Pune. Out of these, 300 seats are available for the BBA LLB programme at the institute.
