Symbiosis Law School LLM Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Symbiosis LLM is a full-time programme that lasts for one year. The postgraduate level course is offered through the Center for Postgraduate Legal Studies (CPLS), to create research-centric intellectuals and academicians. The Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune LLM is available in multiple specialisations such as Business and Corporate Law, Business and Corporate Law, Criminal Law and Security Law, Human Rights Law, etc.
Admissions to the LLM course are based on the Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT) entrance exam 2025 score of the candidates. The AIAT exams take place in a Centre Based Test (CBT) mode at select test centers across India. After the test, the SLS conducts personal interviews for the selected candidates. Candidates are shortlisted for SLS Pune LLM admission 2025 based on the exam scores, interviews, and eligibility criteria. The LLM eligibility criteria are as follows:

No, the university do not accept CLAT score for admission to the LLM course. It accepts AIAT score for admission to LLM course. AIAT is conducted by SIU for admission to LLM programme. Aspirants who have passed AIAT have to further qualify the Personal Interaction round for final admission.
Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts the Symbiosis Law School All India Admission Test for admission to the LLM course every year. Symbiosis Law School LLM Admission 2025: How to apply?
The LLM admission process is simple and it is done in online mode. The details are mentioned below:
- Registration for Entrance Exams
The first step is to register for the right entrance exams - Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT).
- Admissions
- Go to the offcial website
- Register as a new user and enter your basic details.
- Get the email verified.
- Complete the form.
- Pay the fee with a credit card/debit card or net banking and submit it.

3. Selection Process 2025
Candidates who've applied for LLM SLS Pune must appear for the SLAT 2025 entrance exam, Writing Ability Test, and personal interview as per the respective course. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts AIAT annually. The exam shall be held in computer-based test mode. The test duration is 60 minutes and there are 60 MCQs of 60 marks in the test. Based on the scores of the AIAT, candidates are shortlisted by the SLS.
4. Merit Lists Publication 2025
The results of the selection process are released in the form of a merit list on the official website. The merit lists are released in three rounds: First Merit List, Second Merit List, and Third Merit List (subject to availability of seats). SLS Pune releases the merit lists once the online PI rounds are conducted.
5. Document Verification & Payment of Admission Fee 2025
Candidates shortlisted as per the merit lists will have to submit the prescribed LLM admission fee for the particular course. Following this, candidates are required to go through the verification and are intimated about the date of commencement of the classes.
