NLSIU Bangalore LLM Eligibility &Highlights 2025
NLSIU Bangalore LLM is a one-year course offered in a full-time mode. The PG-level course curriculum is spread across three trimesters every academic year with a blend of core and elective courses. The LLM course for the academic year 2025 is offered in four concentrations Public Law, Criminal Law, Commercial Laws, and Law and Technology.
Admission to the LLM course is subject to a valid score on Comthe mon Law Admission Test, known as CLAT. Additionally, candidates are required to go through the CLAT counseling process conducted by CNLU for final seat allotment. Candidates must also have a valid LLM eligibility criteria: LL.B. degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate for General/OBC/PWD categories, and 45% for SC/ST categories. Further, for international applicants NLSIU accepts NLSAT – International Examination.

NLSIU Bangalore LLM curriculum is offered in trisemester for one academic year. The university education system follows the credit system to grade students. The LLM course has a total of 48 credits for the core, elective subjects and extra 4 credits for dissertation.
