Admission to MBA in Human Resources Management is offered based on Karnataka PGCET, GMAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT and other equivalent examinations. Furthermore, the Institute offers MBA in HR is offered with the tuition fees worth INR 13.02 Lakh. Whereas, the hostel fees is worth INR 3.45 Lacs and one-time payment is around INR 40K, giving a total of INR 16.87 Lacs of course fees for 2 years.

TAPMI maintains an overal CAT percentile of 85 for its MBA course from the past three years (2020, 2021 and 2022) for the General All India category student. Considering the past three years cutoff percentile, there is high chances that a student can get a call from TAPMI with 80 percentile in CAT. However, final admission will be based on CAT/ XAT cutoff score, followed by candidates' performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Also, the cutoff score vary for different catergory students. 

TAPMI Manipal offers admission to most of the courses based on entrance exam. The institute shortlists aspirants for MBA programme based on entrance exam scores. Aspirants can pass CAT, XAT, GMAT or NMAT followed by a group discussion and personal interview round. For Online MBA, the merit of the candidates will be considered for admission. Aspirants wishing to apply for PhD must qualify UGC-NET, CSIR NET, MAHE Eligibility Test, etc. for admission.

Going with the trend, the TAPMI MBA cutoff 2024 remained constant over the period of three years. It has released several MBA specialisations for which the cutoff stood the same over the years. The CAT cutoff for Master of Business Administration (MBA) under General quota stood at 85 in 2024, even for every specialisation the CAT cutoff stood the same. So, considering the year-wise cutoff data, it is expected that CAT cutoff will remained constant at 85 in 2025.
