The college is affordable with strong academics and decent placements.

Placements: Placements at Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College are pretty decent if students are regular and serious about their studies. Companies like TCS and Wipro do show up, mostly offering average packages. It is not super competitive, but we have a fair chance if we put in the effort. The placement team is helpful and guides us through the process.

Infrastructure: It has a clean and comfortable campus with air-conditioned classrooms and decent computer labs. The library is peaceful and a great spot to study or just read quietly. There is also a gym and some sports space, which is a nice bonus. The only letdown is that the food in the canteen is not that great. Overall, the infrastructure feels student-friendly and well-organised.

Faculty: Exams at college are fair and not too stressful if we attend classes regularly. Most questions come from what is taught, so if we are paying attention, then they are good. Checking is usually on time and reasonable. There is a good balance between internal assessment and finals, so it does not feel overwhelming.

Other: The college gives us a pretty good deal for what we pay. The fee is reasonable, and we still get decent teaching, placements, and a clean campus. It is not super fancy, but it covers all basics well. Overall, it feels like money well spent.
