B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2026

Good college for engineering.
Placements: An average number of placements is happening in the college. Various companies come every year. Most of the companies are IT-based, and only some come for core subjects like EEE. The highest package till now this year is 21 LPA from Juspay. Companies like Oracle and Commvault also visit.
Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure is there in the college. With minimal space and campus size, the college is well maintained with facilities like various labs, central library, sports grounds, an idea lab, etc. Classrooms are also decent. Hostel facilities are good, but the food quality is poor.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and helpful. All are qualified and can be reached for help. The course curriculum is not that great. It's more theoretical than practical experience and projects. The curriculum is a bit different from KTU as the college is autonomous. Exams are scorable.

Good placements and package.
Placements: Placements are good in the college. I am a final year Electrical student, but I can sit in most of the IT companies. Companies like Justpay, Oracle, Commvault, etc. Come to our campus with the highest package like 21LPA, 27LPA, and 33LPA. Most students who attend the placements get placed.
Infrastructure: Buildings, classrooms, and other facilities are well maintained and clean. All labs, including the Idea lab and the central library, are there with AC. Sports facilities are also available. Hostel facilities are good, but the food is bad. Hostel feels is also very high.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but the curriculum is more theoretical and textbook based. Practical sessions are there, but not up to the mark. Curriculum is not industry relevant. We will have to learn for placements by ourselves only. Semester exams can be scored easily.

Satisfied with the overall performance.
Placements: College placements are good enough for IT roles only. Core companies are fewer for branches like Electrical, Electronics, Civil, etc. CS core companies come with high packages, but other branch package goes around 5 LPA only. Top IT companies are Juspay, Oracle, Commvault, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is decent, but not that good. The campus area is very different compared to other colleges in Kerala, but most of the facilities are available. A central library with Wi-Fi and AC is there. Hostel facilities are also good.
Faculty: Curriculum is a bit different from KTU syllabus as the college is autonomous. Faculty members are nice, very helpful, and studious. Most of them are Ph.D. holders, and researchers are also there. Very approachable for doubts and other help. Course is okay, and exams can be scored easily. Course is also decent, not that relevant to the industry.

Poor campus placements: Students need to go to off-campus placements for better packages.

Satisfied with the overall performance.
Placements: Almost 340 students are placed from my college the previous year. Big companies like Justpay, Commvault, Oracle, and Credit come for campus placements. The highest package this year is 21LPA, and the average goes around 5LPA. The top roles offered are Software Developer, cloud based roles.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good and very well maintained with respect to the neatness, sanitation, etc. All kinds of facilities are provided, like a central library with AC and Wi-Fi, labs like Idea Lab, etc. Hostel facilities are good except for the food. Very high fees are around 7k per month.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and helpful. The curriculum is a bit more theoretical and textbook based. We need to find our own time to spare for ourselves and for self growth. Semester exams can be scored by studying before exams. No need to attend all lectures and be up to date.

Good college for engineering.
Placements: Good placement opportunities are available for everyone, especially CS/IT related jobs. Many IT companies come for placement recruitment and offer decent packages. Average package goes around 5 LPA - 6 LPA, and the highest is 21 LPA by Juspay. Students are placed in many companies. Core electrical companies are also there.
Infrastructure: Good college infrastructure is there with neat and well-maintained surroundings and other areas. All facilities like labs, libraries, workshops, etc., are there with good equipments and tools. Hostel facilities are also good but poor food is available with very high fees.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are all well-qualified and very helpful. Curriculum is a bit hard for new batches as the college is autonomous, and syllabus is varied from the regular KTU syllabus. Exams are decent and can be scored by studying just before exams.

A really good college in Kerala.
Placements: Good placement opportunities are available in the college. Many companies come every year with decent packages. Top companies include Juspay, Oracle, Commvault, etc. The highest package is 34 LPA. Electrical core companies also come, like Schneider, with an average 10 LPA salary.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is available in the college. All lab facilities are there, like electrical, CAD lab, machines, etc. A central library is also available. Sports facilities are also good. The hostel is decent. The food is not great. Hostel fees are very high, around 6-7k per month.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and supportive. The curriculum is relevant but not very great; more practical application is needed, as there's too much theory currently. Students have to prepare themselves to be industry-ready. Semester exams aren't that hard if you study 2-3 days beforehand.

I am dissatisfied with the hostel food and fees.
Placements: Placements are good enough compared to other engineering colleges in Kerala and other outside tier 3 colleges. Core electrical companies come for recruitment but take only a few students with a package ranging from 10-12 LPA. Otherwise, the average package offered is 4 LPA only. The highest package offered last year was 18 LPA in IT, Oracle.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure is provided in the college with all the required facilities like labs, library, sports ground, etc. The college is small compared to other colleges. Hostels are outside the campus and in the civil area. Hostel food is not so good. Fee is also very high.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Good quality teachers are also there who can be reached out at any time. Teaching quality is also good but there is more theoretical study. The course curriculum is relevant to some extent but would not guarantee industrial exposure. Exams are easily scorable.

Satisfied with the placements.
Placements: Decent placements are there ein the college. More packages are offered for IT companies. Electrical core companies also offer somewhere around 10-15lpa for core roles. It all depends on the skill and knowledge. Almost all students are placed the previous year.
Infrastructure: infrastructure is good, though with a limited campus area. Unlike other government colleges in Kerala or India, TKM has a very small campus area, but it's maintained very well with proper hygiene and sanitation. Hostel facilities are decent, but the mess food is pathetic.
Faculty: Course curriculum is a bit harder and more busy for new autonomous batch students, it's not the regular KTU syllabus. Exams are manageable and not that hard if studied a few days before exams. Faculty members are very great and helpful. Teaching is also good, but more theoretical.
