Decent engineering college in Kerala.
Placements: Placements are good, and a good number of packages are coming to the college. Top companies like Oracle and Juspay hire from here. The highest package offered was 21 LPA this year, and average goes around 4-5 LPA. Core companies also come like Snider, Anora, etc., with below 10 LPA. Overall, it's good.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is available in the college. Campus is very near and clean, and facilities are also available within the college. Hostel is outside the college campus area. Hostel fees are very high, and the food is not good. Almost 7k per month. Hostel facilities are decently good.
Faculty: Good faculty members and a curriculum are there. Curriculum is not the same as that of other KTU colleges. Autonomous syllabus has changed. Mostly it's theoretical, but practical sessions are also there. Exams are scorable. We can sit for 3 days before exams and score them easily.

Satisfied with the overall performance.
Placements: College placements are good enough for IT roles only. Core companies are fewer for branches like Electrical, Electronics, Civil, etc. CS core companies come with high packages, but other branch package goes around 5 LPA only. Top IT companies are Juspay, Oracle, Commvault, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is decent, but not that good. The campus area is very different compared to other colleges in Kerala, but most of the facilities are available. A central library with Wi-Fi and AC is there. Hostel facilities are also good.
Faculty: Curriculum is a bit different from KTU syllabus as the college is autonomous. Faculty members are nice, very helpful, and studious. Most of them are Ph.D. holders, and researchers are also there. Very approachable for doubts and other help. Course is okay, and exams can be scored easily. Course is also decent, not that relevant to the industry.

I am dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: The civil department in the college receives one of the lowest packages in the college. Although some companies come with decent offers. The intake number of students is very low, maybe 3-4 per company. Students are not placed enough. The highest package was around 8 LPA last year.
Infrastructure: A decent level of infrastructure is there for the college with different kinds of facilities. It's not as big as other government colleges in Kerala but they are not so small also. The sanitation and cleanliness and other aspects of the college are pretty good. The hostel food is very bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and very supportive. They are helpful to students. They can be approached anytime for any help. The curriculum is fully theoretical and no practical-based learning is there as the college is autonomous now. Exams are also tougher now than the regular KTU papers.

It is not very great for civil engineering students.
Placements: Almost all students who attended the placements got placed. The highest package offered this year is 21 LPA for IT companies. A few core companies like TCS, etc., visit the college to hire civil students with a low package that ranges from 4-5 LPA. We have to select IT roles for better packages.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure and buildings are available on the campus. The campus size is small, as compared to other government engineering colleges in Kerala. Hostel facilities are good, but the food here is very bad and tastes pathetic. The fee is Rs. 7,000, which is very high.
Faculty: The course curriculum is textbook-based and boring. It's not very relevant to the industry-level knowledge. Faculty members are good, very educated, and supportive. They can be approached if needed. Semester exams can be scored by studying just before exams.

Satisfied with the overall performance.
Placements: Almost 340 students are placed from my college the previous year. Big companies like Justpay, Commvault, Oracle, and Credit come for campus placements. The highest package this year is 21LPA, and the average goes around 5LPA. The top roles offered are Software Developer, cloud based roles.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good and very well maintained with respect to the neatness, sanitation, etc. All kinds of facilities are provided, like a central library with AC and Wi-Fi, labs like Idea Lab, etc. Hostel facilities are good except for the food. Very high fees are around 7k per month.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and helpful. The curriculum is a bit more theoretical and textbook based. We need to find our own time to spare for ourselves and for self growth. Semester exams can be scored by studying before exams. No need to attend all lectures and be up to date.

I am dissatisfied with the hostel food and fees.
Placements: Placements are good enough compared to other engineering colleges in Kerala and other outside tier 3 colleges. Core electrical companies come for recruitment but take only a few students with a package ranging from 10-12 LPA. Otherwise, the average package offered is 4 LPA only. The highest package offered last year was 18 LPA in IT, Oracle.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure is provided in the college with all the required facilities like labs, library, sports ground, etc. The college is small compared to other colleges. Hostels are outside the campus and in the civil area. Hostel food is not so good. Fee is also very high.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Good quality teachers are also there who can be reached out at any time. Teaching quality is also good but there is more theoretical study. The course curriculum is relevant to some extent but would not guarantee industrial exposure. Exams are easily scorable.
