There are a total of 240 seats for the BA LLB (Hons) programme. Candidates are admitted as per the sanctioned seat intake. UPES shall reserve the right to revise the seat count. The university fill seats up to 20% through the Board Merit/CLAT AIR/UL-SAT India Category. If seats are left vacant, then those can be filled through ULSAT. It must be noted that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
Students of any stream can apply for BA LLB provided that they meet the basic eligibility criteria. Candidates should clear Class 12 in any stream from a recognised school, with minimum 45-50 percent aggregate marks. There is no age bar to pursue the course.
