It has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 40-50% of students get placed, and others opt for higher studies. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 4-6 LPA. We have a very good placement cell. So, vast companies are coming to recruit students.
Infrastructure: We have a great infrastructure. The college is fully Wi-Fi accessible, so students can access the internet from every corner of our college. We have good mess and hostel facilities. We have a large variety of games and sports activities that support our health.
Faculty: Faculty members here are so helpful, and they all have a great education. Most of them are well-experienced and knowledgeable. One negative fact is that the course curriculum does not build an industry-ready product. Semester exams are a bit tougher compared with other courses in the college. The pass percentage is around 75%.
Other: I chose this course because it allows me to move to wider areas and enroll in education.

Review of Government Engineering College, Thrissur.
Placements: There are huge placements happening every year in our college. Most of the students get placed in software companies. Placement to the core companies is very less. An average package is about 3 LPA. Most of them are getting placed if they have no backlogs.
Infrastructure: College has around 75 acres of land. Hostel is close to the college. The availability of college buses makes it students easier to travel. College has many students so the connection between departments is less among day scholars.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and have good skills in teaching. As a government college classes are often less. But the quality of classes is too good. Most of them pass exams. Labs are little bit difficult. There are regular viva and record submissions in lab.
Other: There are various clubs for art, music, and dance enthusiasts.

It's just a review from one of many.
Placements: Placements are not at all good because of the approach from many companies towards the college as it is difficult to travel and get people from here. So many companies won't reach here thereby decreasing placement opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: They provide good infrastructure like every college. It provides a practical session area. Better lab facilities are available. Some equipment is available, but due to lack of equipment students are unable to work on it, which makes it more difficult.
Faculty: Faculty members are joined and appointed as same as in every government college. They provide better lectures than others but there is the availability of permanent staff and as a result, temporary staff changes frequently which can cause problems.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: More than 50% of students got placed last year. Packages vary according to companies. Most of the companies that visit the college are Tata and TCS. Top role offered is a software engineer. Most job offers are available to computer science students which has a total of 60 seats.
Infrastructure: Every facility is available here like smart classrooms, a library, and even a central computer facility. 3 grounds are available here to play different variety of games. There is a very good campus life if we wish to study here. We might have the best college life here.
Faculty: Teachers here are very experienced and highly educated. Semester exams depend on what course we choose and how we study. It is a very good place to study and enjoy our college life. We will have a great experience studying here. Faculty members are also reputed.
Other: This course offers an introduction to manufacturing and management, so I chose this course.

Placements: The majority of students get placed with high packages. Our college provides sufficient knowledge and support to our students. Their teaching is of high quality. Students from all over India come to our college as it holds the 2nd rank in KIRF rankings. The 4th year is full of internships.
Infrastructure: Each department has its own block. Each classroom can accommodate 70+ students. Tutors and faculty are highly qualified. There are separate labs for each department, with well-spaced and sufficient materials to learn. The college also provides Wi-Fi for everyone.
Faculty: Faculty and tutors are really good and supportive in every case, like for studies, financially, and to support the team. They teach well and are honest in their job. The semester exams are quite easy to moderate. The pass percentage remains constant, with an average number of students passing.

A college that provides good campus life, competitive students, but comparatively fewer placements.
Placements: 60–70% of students were placed, with the highest package being between 10 and 11 LPA and the lowest package being between 5 and 6 LPA. Oracle, Air India, etc. are the top recruiting companies. 20% of students got internships. The top role offered was data analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library and the labs are functioning well. Classrooms need some furnishing as well as modifications. Hostel facilities are satisfactory. Food is really good and healthy. The canteen provides good food at cheap rates. The physical education department also promotes sports and games.
Faculty: The teaching quality was not as good as expected. There are few teachers who are helpful and knowledgeable. But a majority of teachers aren't providing a good teaching method. The course curriculum is quite relevant, but it still has to improve. Semester exams are medium-level. Pass percentage is about 90–95%.
Other: This course is demanding, and since the course upskills me, I will always be happy with it. I wish to improve the extracurricular activities and mentorship. Events and fests are as good as expected.
