Government Engineering College Bikaner, Computer Science Engineering.
Placements: 88 percentage of students are placed in your course. The highest package advantage in my college is 8 Lacs to 10 Lacs, and the lowest package is 4 to 5 Lacs. Cognizant Technology Solutions, Google, Zenser Technology, Deloitte, Tata Consultancy Services. 78 percentage of students are placed in the course.
Infrastructure: The facility of my college is very good, every type of facility is available there: drinking water, Wi-Fi, lab, classrooms are also very clean, and there are good books in the library. My college hostels are very good, the staff there is also good, and there are medical facilities in the college. There is a lot of support for Kabaddi in college, Kabaddi, cricket, and many other things are supported in college.
Faculty: All the teachers in my college are qualified, have good knowledge, and we understand things very well. Yes, this course is relevant to students, and students are ready for the industry. The semester exams are a little bit harder. The benefit is only that in my college, the pass percentage is 88 percentage.

Our college provides good placements for CSE.
Placements: TPO cell needs to work more to bring companies to provide placements in our college. Placements are good for CSE with a salary package ranging from 2 LPA to 6 LPA and other branch students get placed at TCS and Infosys with less salary package. Many students from CSE get placed off-campus in big companies with a salary package of more than 10 LPA to 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: It is a 50-year-old college. Hostel facility is improved little but 80% of students wish to rent rooms outside. Our course is based on the RGPV syllabus.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are old and do not encourage students much to learn. We had good TEQIP faculty members from IITs and NITs till 2020. After that, they left out, and now, we have some local guest faculty members. All of them speak and teach in Hindi and do not encourage students to speak English.
Other: Attendance is made mandatory in our college. Students of our college can complete their graduation with the fee of 1 lakh.

Our college is the best because it is very affordable for students.
Placements: In our college, other than the IT branch, the core branches were not good in placements. Mostly, CS and EC students were placed. Placements for the core branch students were very low. Placements in the IT branch were very good. Almost 100% of students were placed in 2019.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were not good. The construction was very old and could collapse at any time. Our college was not interested in providing any facilities as long as students had to manage this. Our college was established in 1947, so the department was a bit old, but the new buildings were excellent. Every classroom had a smartboard, benches, and tables that were the best for students. The hostel was very disappointing. It was very old and rooms were not suitable for students. Wi-Fi was available, and there was a gym. The canteen was available for students and the mess food in the hostel was decent. The campus was very huge. It was spread over almost 350 acres and the environment was very good for students.
Faculty: In our college, some teachers were very supportive and relevant, but some were average. Semester exams were very difficult. You had to prepare for the whole semester if you wanted to pass the whole semester. It was dependent on SGPA. The SGPA is equal to your semester CGPA. The percentage of both semesters' SGPA on your yearly mark sheet will be the average of your yearly CGPA. The 6.5 to 7 CGPA was very good for placements because most companies allow you only when you have a 6.5 to 7 CGPA.
Other: I chose computer science as my first choice because I had an excellent interest in coding. There were many events held in our college and there were events for each department to celebrate. They provided scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC students.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, but placements in 2018 and 2019 were good.
Placements: 90-95% of students were placed in our course. The packages range from 4 to 18 LPA. 90% of students got internships from our course in IT companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are awesome. Many facilities are available and are unbelievable. The quality of facilities in our hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games are good enough for us and really appreciable.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us ready for the industry. Semester exams in our college are really difficult for us, and the pass percentage is above 50%.

It is a good engineering college with a low fees.
Placements: I am satisfied because the college provides the best. I am in the Computer Science branch. Our batch consisted of 70 students, among which 30 students are eligible for placements, and out of them, 16 to 18 students got placed. In our branch, the highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.7 LPA. Top recruitment companies are TCS and Wipro. Internships are average, and sometimes BHEL provided internships to us. The top roles offered are for management purposes, as a sub engineer or a part of the project.
Infrastructure: Our college consists of all types of labs and separate departmental labs for a separate branch with all the latest computer devices. There are smart classrooms and a huge library. Our college has Wi-Fi facilities, but it is accessed only by the staff members and college teachers. Students can only use them in the hall room. I would rate 3 out of 10 for the infrastructure strength because there are many cracks, and sometimes fans fall down. There are 5 hostels in which 3 are for girls, and 2 are for boys. Only 3 hostels are in good condition in which 2 are for girls, and 1 is for boys.
Faculty: Our college consists of the best and the worst teachers. TEQUIP faculty members who are passed out from IITs are mainly focused on competitive exam purposes. Our college is followed by the guideline of RGPV, and the syllabus and course are based on GATE.
Other: I have chosen the Computer Science branch because I want to be a software engineer.
