A great college for engineers.
Placements: Our college is one of the best engineering colleges in the city and state, and it is also known for its good placement records. According to the placement report of the previous year, the highest package offered was INR 8 LPA, whereas the average package offered was INR 4 LPA - 5 LPA, and the lowest was INR 2 LPA. Around 50% students get placements every year.
Infrastructure: College has good facilities and infrastructure. Buildings are well-maintained. Classes are smart with Wi-Fi access. It has huge and spacious library and reading room for students to study peacefully. College has a decent size canteen with great food and is affordable. Sports are not much appreciated in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members at our college are the best. I can say, teachers are helpful, well-qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced in their respective fields. The curriculum is definitely relevant, and changes are made as per the changing environment. Semester exams are moderately difficult, students have to study consistently to get good marks. About 50% of students pass their semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because of its increasing demand in the industry. Our college, once in a while organises fests. Campus is filled with greenery, fostering vibrant campus life. Scholarships are government affiliated.

Approx 75% attendance was required but genuinely there is no attendance issue in this college.
Placements: The placement record of this college was not so good. Only 50-60% of students were placed in various companies such as TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. The highest package offered by 12 LPA in this year. The average package was around 3.5 LPA. This college does not provide any internship opportunities to the students. Students have to get internships on their own.
Infrastructure: The campus of this college is expanded to 250 acres. The infrastructure of this college was very old. Some department buildings are well maintained such as the AI department building. There is a huge library, wi-fi available on campus. The classrooms are big enough and well air conditioning. There are 8 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel available. The quality of mess food is not so good. I give a 6 rating out of 10 for food quality and hygiene. Separate sports grounds are available for each hostel. There is too much greenery and an eco-friendly environment in both the hostel and college campus.
Faculty: One of the best things about this college is its faculty members. All the teachers are Ph.D. holders or NEAT qualified. They are so helpful regards academics and personal problems. Semester exams are not so much difficult. 70-80% of questions are repetitive and previous year question-based. Out of a total of 150 marks, 70 marks are for theoretical exams, 30 marks for practical, and 20 marks for sem exams. The rest marks are distributed for college attendance, the behavior of students, etc. A minimum of 22 marks out of 70 are required to for qualify the theoretical exam.
Other: There are very few events happening in this college. Only 1-2 fests occur in a year. The alumni connectivity is so good. Ajay Chowdhry, founder of HCL Technologies, was a JEC alumnus. There are many different clubs available such as Club, Karwaa Club, E-cell, Matrix, Literacy Club, etc. There are many scholarships available for students such as MMVY, post matric scholarship, etc.

Average placements, below average infrastructure, good campus life, and you get a lot of free time.
Placements: I don't know the exact figure but about 60% of students get placements this year. The highest package offered is 12 LPA by IBM (only for girls) and 11 LPA for boys. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and average package is about 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are IBM, TCS, and Reliance. This college does not provide any internships so students have to get it on their own so it's pretty low.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi what-so-ever in the hostels, campus, and even in the library. My department building is new just a year ago so there are no proper facilities as well. Labs are below average. But one thing that I like is the mess food since mess students run mess therefore, students can change mess in charge if they don't like the food quality. Hostels are different for every first year, second year, third year, and fourth year. Every batch lives in a separate hostel. There are total of 9 hostels.
Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful while some are not the same with their teaching. This course curriculum for the first year is totally irrelevant as you have to learn basic things from every branch. But 3rd semester onwards syllabus seems relevant and industry-ready. Exams are easy not so difficult, if just by heart the last 3 years' PYQs, you will pass.

Faculty is the best and placements are low but fee is great.
Placements: 70 percent of students are placed this year with the highest package of 14 LPA and the lowest package of 2.6 LPA, and the overall average package of college is 6 LPA. The company that offered the highest package is Mantra. The department has just signed a MOU with a teaching-based firm and got about 17 students an internship.
Infrastructure: Faculty was short for our department, but recently some guest faculty have been appointed. But the number of lab classes is less and theoretical classes are more. Hostels are not in good condition and dirty, the mess is private, and the quality of food is not good.
Faculty: Teachers in JEC are well qualified and knowledgeable and help a lot with your studies and even guide you in your life problems, but the curriculum is out of date here. This course will not teach you much about real-life problems as the main focus here is on theory, and semester exams are not that tough here; all questions are from previous year questions.
Other: I chose this course because of my low marks, but the best thing about this course is the low fees and good community, as not even a single batch is passed out from this course; it still has a good community.

Extremely affordable college with okay placements.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed in this college this year, with the highest package of 11 LPA (for gender neutral) and 12 LPA (only for girls) provided by IBM. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Reliance, and IBM. Since your college does not provide internships. Number of students getting internships is low as they have to apply for it off-campus. Top role offered by IBM is a data scientist with an average salary of 11 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are no Wi-Fi facilities in hostel and college campus. Also, not all students get hostel, only people who have good scores in JEE Main get it. Hostel mess is a student-run mess so food quality is good. Sports facilities are available like basketball ground, kabbadi ground, and volleyball ground on college campus.
Faculty: Some teachers are extremely helpful to me while some are not. You can find every kind of teacher anywhere. Course syllabus was changed in 2023 and I am from specialisation branch. I think my syllabus is relevant. Semester exams are quite easy, anyone can pass just by studying 4-5 days before exams.
Other: I chose this course because I thought this might help me in the long run since AI is the future. Best thing about my course is that it is future-ready. Things I would like to improve in my course are to include course-specific subjects tight from the first year and not teach everything like civil, mechanical, etc.
