I am satisfied with the faculty, placement, and GATE ranks in 2022.

Placements: There are around 20 to 25 students placed in IT companies and core companies like LNT Jindal private limited. The highest salary package from our branch was around 6 LPA in the year 2022.

Infrastructure: Our college has a library that is the best among the JNTU colleges. There is a college Wi-Fi which sometimes works. The labs are well-equipped, and the medical facilities and canteens are always available for us easily. The hostel mess and canteen don't serve good quality food, and other facilities like water and current issues are not up to the mark.

Faculty: Faculty here are qualified and helpful in the metallurgical batch. This course is a core branch. In our college, teachers and professors are highly qualified, and they are very helpful to students in extra classes. The course curriculum is relevant, and it not only makes students industry-ready but also prepares them for other engineering exams like GATE.

I am satisfied with its teachers, placements, infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: Around 98% of students are placed every year. The highest salary pacakge offered is 10 LPA from EEE. The average salary pacakge offered is 6 LPA. In placements, our college always tops 1st position and very well developing skills are providing to students.

Infrastructure: In this college, facilities like digital learning with Wi-Fi and a library are available. The laboratory equipment is very well. In sports, students have both indoor and outdoor games. The latest auditorium is well maintained. Hostel management is very well designed. The ground is available for every game.

Faculty: I am studying to become an achiever in this college. As I want to be a part of the campus placements selection and make the curriculum updated with current technology like data science, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, etc.

Other: In the 2nd year onwards they encouraged internships, and I worked as ISP and won an appreciation certificate and rewarded with 1000 rupees cash prize with a t-shirt. So I am so worthy to be here in this college.

If students study hard then it is the best college.

Placements: Almost 70% of students are placed on-campus. The highest salary package offered is 19 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Infosys, TCS, and CTS Value Labs. Almost 80% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi and internet facility are available. There will be more useful. It has laboratories and good classrooms are there. It provides a large library with lots of books. Food in the canteen is good, and medicines will be also available. Sports are also available with good infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are very well trained and excellent faculty members will be available in this college. They are highly qualified in all the courses. The teaching quality is also very well. The students will be ready to make their industries. The faculty training for students will be good.

I'm dissatisfied due to no campus placements and practical knowledge, but has a good infrastructure.

Placements: None of the students from our course got placed as there were no campus placements in our college. Top recruiters for our course are Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Steel Authority of India Limited. Top roles offered in our course are management trainee and assistant manager. A fresher from our course can get a salary package of 3 LPA-5 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got internships in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited and National Mineral Development Corporation.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in our college, and there are labs with lack of some lab equipment. Our college has good classrooms with projector facility and a central library which consists of many books of our course and also some of the competitive books. The quality of the food served in the hostel is average, and they serve chicken and egg twice a week. There are gym and shuttle court in our hostel. Our college has a dispensary, and a nurse stays in our hostel. Our college has a huge ground which consists of basketball, volleyball courts and cricket pitch.

Faculty: Our teachers completed M.Tech, and our head of the department completed a doctorate. They teach lessons using projectors. Some of the teachers will not be able to provide practical examples. The course curriculum is relevant, but some changes are required in the curriculum so that the students gain practical knowledge.

Other: I have chosen this course as it is very interesting. In our region, people don't have an awareness of this course. But in reality, our course has a wide scope of job facilities. I wish that our college should more practical tests. Our college organises technical fests, along with useful workshops, and also international conferences. Our college is located on the hill. Maximum students get government scholarships.

It is a better option for those who cannot afford private colleges. Placements are not that good.

Placements: There will be 95-98% occupancy of the seats in the metallurgical engineering department. There were no campus placements for core branches, and no company visits the college for recruitment. Most of the students in our branch do an internship in Visakhapatnam steel plant, NMDC Hyderabad, MIDHANI Hyderabad, etc. After completion of engineering in metallurgical, we have to attend an open interview. The starting salary package offered is 2.5 LPA

Infrastructure: There was no updated lab equipment in the college, and the library also has the old editions. The classrooms were well maintained. There is no Wi-Fi in the college, but there is a proposal for Wi-Fi so the college will get Wi-Fi by 2020-21. The hostel looks pretty good when compared with JNTUK. There is freedom for students in the hostel as there are not many restrictions for students in the hostel. The food served also tastes good. There are no proper medical facilities. The college encourages sports and games.

Faculty: The college is lacking behind in terms of faculty. Teachers who are taking classes are recruited on contract base. Most of them were not experienced, but they always support and encourage students. They always strive to increase the skills of students. Our branch curriculum (metallurgy), helps us and make us ready for the industry. Our HOD encourages industrial visits to understand industrial techniques.

Other: I got randomly admitted in this course, but after admission, I started liking this course (metallurgy). The campus is far away from the city. It is almost 1.5km, far from the main road. Even there is no proper transport facility. There will be 14 days tech fest entirely organised by students.
