To begin with, one must first qualify the exam and then check for the cutoffs. The cutoff is different for various students; cutoff for  a general category student was 25%, talking in scores, it will be 50 marks out of 200, where as for a SC/ST student it was 10%, that is, the student must score atleast 20 marks out of 200 and for an OBC student, the required score was 25 out of 200 which is 12.5% of the total, in order to be eligible to take admission into the institution .

Common University Entrance Test, popularly known by its acronym CUET, is a National level test which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) . Many institutions have standardised its scores as a pre-requisit to enter into the college . colleges reveal their own cutoffs for different programs and different departments . The cutoff strictly depends upon the compition in that particular programme . Colleges have started declaring thier cutoffs for different programs on their College Website .  Osmania has started to unveil the cutoffs for different programs but it is yes to reveal the cutoffs for B.Sc programme . 

University College of Science, Osmania University offers courses across different domains, and different programs . Every year students give entrance exams by studying hard and rigrously spending time solving questions just to get into such a university . This university offers 751 seats across all programs which then gets sub-divided among the departments and programs in order to ensure justice with every domain of study  . It usually varies  between 80 to 120 and depending upon the circumstances that may influence the seats.

CUET is a national level exam for enrollment in different universities across India, in different fields of education and for various degress. Colleges participating in CUET have started unvieling the cutoffs on their college website (for different fields). As of now Osmania University is also unvieling there cutoffs, steadily, but they are yet to disclose the cutoff for B.Sc. It will be published soon on thier college website.

The career path majorly depends upon the MSc course specialisation chosen by the candidate. There are further career options in both public and private domains. University College of Science, Osmania University MSc graduates can apply for jobs, however, the selection is subject to fulfilment of the required criteria as per the employer. University College of Science, Osmania University does not offer direct admission to a course. Aspirants are either required to fulfil the merit requirement or appear for an entrance exam for admission. The selection criteria will vary as per the course. Candidates applying for UG courses are offered seat through Telangana State Online Services for Students (TS DOST). For MCA, candidates need to qualify TSICET. Admission to MSc is based on CPGET conducted by Osmania University.

Campus life always makes any college a better one. The college have great equipment in labs and also many reasearch labs along with RUSA is also within the campus. The instrumentation and few of the experiments can be conducted in the high end labs where the student can get hands on experience of all the experiments. University College of Science Hyderabad considers Class 12 score for admission to UG courses. Candidates need to complete Class 12 with at least 40% aggregate to apply for BSc programme. The college has not specified the minimum aggregate to apply for BCA programme. Admission to UG courses is through DOST (Degree Online Services, Telangana).
