University College of Science, Osmania University offers courses across different domains, and different programs . Every year students give entrance exams by studying hard and rigrously spending time solving questions just to get into such a university . This university offers 751 seats across all programs which then gets sub-divided among the departments and programs in order to ensure justice with every domain of study  . It usually varies  between 80 to 120 and depending upon the circumstances that may influence the seats.

Choosing  a college for B.sc course depends on various factors (few of them are):

Placements : This is by far the biggest factor in choosing a college. Among these two colleges, Osmania University takes the edge in terms of students placed, it fetches nearly 70-90 percent . However Amity, Noida is not too far behind, with almost 54000 students placed every year in mostly B.sc course and it's placement increased by 6% from 2022 to 2023.

Osmania University's University College of Science provides courses in many different kinds of courses and programs.Approximately 800 students get admission each year to UCS for all B.Sc. numbers that are allowed. Due to yearly changes in programme offers or admission capacities, this may differ slightly.Each B.Sc. specialisation has a different particular intake capacity. Less popular specializations like geology or statistics may only accept 30 to 50 students, while popular specializations like physics, chemistry, and zoology may accept 100 to 150 students.

Common University Entrance Test, popularly known by its acronym CUET, is a National level test which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) . Many institutions have standardised its scores as a pre-requisit to enter into the college . colleges reveal their own cutoffs for different programs and different departments . The cutoff strictly depends upon the compition in that particular programme . Colleges have started declaring thier cutoffs for different programs on their College Website .  Osmania has started to unveil the cutoffs for different programs but it is yes to reveal the cutoffs for B.Sc programme . 

The programs offered by Osmania University are UG, PG, and PhD. TS EAMCET, TS ICET, and other entrance exams are some of the accepted by Osmania University. Candidates must meet both the Osmania University TS ICET and TS EAMCET cutoffs in order to be admission.In order to be accepted to Osmania University, candidates must meet the minimum anticipated TS EAMCET cutoff.The anticipated cutoff points for the Osmania University TS EAMCET are 800–110000 in the general category and 3000–125000 in the SC category.However, a number of factors, including the number of applications, the difficulty of the admission exam, and the availability of seats, might affect the cutoff marks from year to year.

CUET is a national level exam for enrollment in different universities across India, in different fields of education and for various degress. Colleges participating in CUET have started unvieling the cutoffs on their college website (for different fields). As of now Osmania University is also unvieling there cutoffs, steadily, but they are yet to disclose the cutoff for B.Sc. It will be published soon on thier college website.

To begin with, one must first qualify the exam and then check for the cutoffs. The cutoff is different for various students; cutoff for  a general category student was 25%, talking in scores, it will be 50 marks out of 200, where as for a SC/ST student it was 10%, that is, the student must score atleast 20 marks out of 200 and for an OBC student, the required score was 25 out of 200 which is 12.5% of the total, in order to be eligible to take admission into the institution .

The total tuition fee for University College of Science Hyderabad BSc ranges between INR 15,100  and INR 52,600. University College of Science, Osmania University does not offer direct admission to a course. Aspirants are either required to fulfil the merit requirement or appear for an entrance exam for admission. The selection criteria will vary as per the course. Candidates applying for UG courses are offered seat through Telangana State Online Services for Students (TS DOST). For MCA, candidates need to qualify TSICET. Admission to MSc is based on CPGET conducted by Osmania University.
