To begin with, one must first qualify the exam and then check for the cutoffs. The cutoff is different for various students; cutoff for a general category student was 25%, talking in scores, it will be 50 marks out of 200, where as for a SC/ST student it was 10%, that is, the student must score atleast 20 marks out of 200 and for an OBC student, the required score was 25 out of 200 which is 12.5% of the total, in order to be eligible to take admission into the institution .

Osmania has started to unveil the cutoffs for different programs but it is yes to reveal the cutoffs for B.Sc programme .

University College of Science, Osmania University offers courses across different domains, and different programs . Every year students give entrance exams by studying hard and rigrously spending time solving questions just to get into such a university . This university offers 751 seats across all programs which then gets sub-divided among the departments and programs in order to ensure justice with every domain of study . It usually varies between 80 to 120 and depending upon the circumstances that may influence the seats.
