To begin with, one must first qualify the exam and then check for the cutoffs. The cutoff is different for various students; cutoff for  a general category student was 25%, talking in scores, it will be 50 marks out of 200, where as for a SC/ST student it was 10%, that is, the student must score atleast 20 marks out of 200 and for an OBC student, the required score was 25 out of 200 which is 12.5% of the total, in order to be eligible to take admission into the institution .

Common University Entrance Test, popularly known by its acronym CUET, is a National level test which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) . Many institutions have standardised its scores as a pre-requisit to enter into the college . colleges reveal their own cutoffs for different programs and different departments . The cutoff strictly depends upon the compition in that particular programme . Colleges have started declaring thier cutoffs for different programs on their College Website .  Osmania has started to unveil the cutoffs for different programs but it is yes to reveal the cutoffs for B.Sc programme . 

University College of Science, Osmania University offers courses across different domains, and different programs . Every year students give entrance exams by studying hard and rigrously spending time solving questions just to get into such a university . This university offers 751 seats across all programs which then gets sub-divided among the departments and programs in order to ensure justice with every domain of study  . It usually varies  between 80 to 120 and depending upon the circumstances that may influence the seats.

CUET is a national level exam for enrollment in different universities across India, in different fields of education and for various degress. Colleges participating in CUET have started unvieling the cutoffs on their college website (for different fields). As of now Osmania University is also unvieling there cutoffs, steadily, but they are yet to disclose the cutoff for B.Sc. It will be published soon on thier college website.

University College of Science, Osmania University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The college selects candidates for UG courses based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants applying for MSc and MCA need to qualify CGPET and TSICET, respectively. Once the selection process is over, candidates are allocated seats via TS DOST to UG courses. Selected aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college.

Step 1: Visit the official website of TS DOST.

Step 2: On the Homepage, click on 'Candidate Pre-Registration Link'.

Step 3: Complete the pre-registration form and proceed to Aadhaar authentication.

Step 4: Enter the OTP and make the fee payment.

Step 5: A pain will be generated.

University College of Science, Osmania University MSc graduates can apply for jobs, however, the selection is subject to fulfilment of the required criteria as per the employer. University College of Science, Osmania University does not offer direct admission to a course. Aspirants are either required to fulfil the merit requirement or appear for an entrance exam for admission. The selection criteria will vary as per the course. Admission to MSc is based on CPGET conducted by Osmania University.
