It is same as other universities. The marking system is not different. The 2 internal marks in each semester along with record and practical and theory exam marks are calculated. From the two internal marks obtained the average is calculated and the rest will be added bsed on the students performance in the semesters. The credits are given based on the attendance, discipline and the participation of the student and so on.
There is no other alternative for attending the internal exams. One have to attend the exam only on the scheduled dates given by the university. The exams are not conducted again for anyone. If anyone doesn't attend they will loose the internal marks.
If the Student doesn't attend or fail the internal exam the marks of the internals are not added to the final GPA of that particular semester. The exams are also not conducted again by the University College of Science, Osmania University.
Campus life always makes any college a better one. The college have great equipment in labs and also many reasearch labs along with RUSA is also within the campus. The instrumentation and few of the experiments can be conducted in the high end labs where the student can get hands on experience of all the experiments. The highly qualified faculty are another major part and are supportive in supporting one for their career path.
College have many different courses. I am a genetics graduate and I can specifically speak about the lifeSciencestream. The college have many varied courses and also multi disciplinary courses like biomedical engineering, B.Tech in Textile biotechnology and also have classical courses like Biochemistry, microbiology and so on. All the departments are equipped so mostly all the course are excelled in their own way. All the departments conduct their own international conferences every year and projects by students. Based on the induvidualinterestyou can choose the course.
