Earlier known as The Institute of Correspondence Education (ICE), the Institute of Distance Education University of Madras was established in 1981. Madras University is accredited with A++ Grade by NAAC and under it, this distance education institute was established in Chepauk, Chennai. Firstly, Candidates for admission to the first year of the Master of Business Administration Degree Programme in the Institute of Distance Education shall be required to have any one of the following qualifications
