B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2029

Marvelous. Good infrastructure.
Placements: I am a student of batch 2029, Course. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. In 2025, 86.1 percent of students got placed in UVCE. The highest package is 53 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 to 2 LPA. Top companies like Texas, IBM, Infosys, etc. As I am in first year, I do not have enough idea.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good and knowledgeable; they teach very well which is easily understood. Infrastructure of our college is very beautiful and wide, which has many spots to explore. Many courses and departments are there to choose from. Classrooms are also good, well cleaned, along with a big library. Hostel facilities are also satisfactory because it consists of all essential needs.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. As I am a 1st year student, I have completed two internals only, both are conducted very strictly, and about questions, they are highly important and difficult. Course curriculum includes technical events and hackathons.
Other: Year of passing out, batch 2029. I chose Artificial Intelligence and Data Science because nowadays Artificial Intelligence is widely used by people, so I expected to learn about it, so I chose it.

It has good faculty and infrastructure, but it is bad for placements.
Placements: Placement for the M.Tech students was very limited in this college. Only 10 to 20 students got placement over a year. The heights package was 10 LPA, and the average package was 3.5 LPA. No students got a company internship from this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very bad because it was old. There were sufficient classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi facilities available. The quality of classrooms and the canteen was average. The food was also average. I have not faced any infrastructure issues during my M.Tech in graduation.
Faculty: Faculty members were the best in the college, and most of them have completed their PhD. They had a great bundle of knowledge. They helped students with their labs and projects. Lab faculty are skilled, and all the lab trainers are very helpful. The semester exams are not too difficult.

Visvesvaraya Technological University College.
Placements: So in M.Tech, the maximum students are in the CSE course only. My college is very good for M.Tech engineering. The highest package in my college for M.Tech students is 30 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 4 Lacs per annum. So many top companies are coming to our college. Top roles like legal services and quality management.
Infrastructure: Coming to the infrastructure, my college is so good. We have Wi-Fi available 24/7. We have very clean classrooms and nice hostel rooms. We have a big library with so many books available. The food quality is so good in the hostel. We have canteens and a small medical clinic for hostelers.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to students. They are such qualified and knowledgeable teachers. Their teaching quality is very good and very understandable. This course is relevant to software companies for the future generation. The semester exams are not about difficulty. The question papers are very moderate, and the corrections are also moderate.

Good faculty and infrastructure but I am not satisfied with placements.
Placements: The top 200 students were placed in our course. The top recruiting companies were IBM India, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. The top offers in our course were security analyst, cybersecurity architecture, and leadership, etc. The highest package offered was 10 LPA and the average package offered was 5 to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college campus was very big compared to the other nearest to us. This provides lots of facilities like Wi-Fi, practical labs, smart classrooms, central library, cybersecurity and hacking labs, etc. The quality of the hostel and mess was manageable. The canteen was very good.
Faculty: Most teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have high-quality teaching. Most teachers were here with their M.Tech degree or a Ph.D. degree. The course curriculum relevance and its ability to make students industry-ready depends on whether the student was fit for the industry or not.

Infrastructure: Evening in college is good, as it is a government college, they provide as much as they can provide, excluding the college campus area, everything is good. Labs are good. Teachers are good. Nature is good. Classrooms are not that good. Now renovation is going on.
Faculty: Every faculty member is helpful and understands the student situation. Helps students during their bad times. Gives good marks based on our performance. Teaches every unit without missing any topics. Gives important questions and helps to get placed, and that's all.

UVCE a brand for nothingUVCE a brand for nothing.
Placements: My course architecture Bachelor doesn't unnecessarily have placement records. But we need to apply to different from by a cell and the teachers also help us in doing the same. Like other branches we do not have a dedicated placement cell as such. It is a self help process.
Infrastructure: The course is good and interesting and beneficial. But not the hostels. The hostels are in the same condition as any other government institute or building. Very congested and dirty and ill managed. A room for 4 is accommodation 10 students the rooms are ripping from the ceiling.
Faculty: The faculty is really nice. There are a lot of experience teachers and architects and planners. But the examination procedure as a whole for the college is not on track. The exam are very irregular and the college does not follow any time table as such.
Other: The college is a brand in itself people respect this college a lot due to its name IE Vishwesvaraiya. There are many events and best happening All around The year in which the student can participate and even volunteer at time.
