Absolutely not satisfied with faculty and college rules. It feels like we are still in school.

Placements: This year, no one gets placed through the college. There is no fixed package. My seniors do not get placed through the college and find jobs on their own. There is no support from the college or department for jobs or internships. Honestly, only 2–3% of students get placed this year. Everyone is stressed about their jobs. No top job roles are offered by the college. It is one of the worst colleges for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is fairly good. There are almost five cafes or canteens on campus. There is also a large cafeteria outside the main gate. The campus has a football ground and a park. It feels good to spend time on campus with friends. The hostel is average. The food is okay. The cleanliness is good. There are not many restrictions on going outside, so it does not feel like a jail.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but they do not make students industry-ready. Faculty members are not very supportive and do not take responsibility for students' concerns. They mainly focus on theoretical knowledge. They do not give permission for many activities. It does not feel like a college. It feels like we are still in school, even in the third year. They do not provide NOCs for internships in the third year. The atmosphere is very stressful. Some teachers target certain students, which is disappointing.

Other: I chose this course because B.Tech Biotechnology is within my budget only at this college in Uttar Pradesh. It is also close to my hometown, which is the main reason I chose this university.

Excellence in academics and placement opportunities.

Placements: Drama University is providing a large number of placement opportunities to our students. It's a famous university in Kanpur and well known for it's excellence standards. Companies from various places hire students from our college regularly. The highest salary package that students got placed in will be 22 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: It's a highly constructive environment with all the needed facilities. This university supports various courses, including arts, medical and engineering. We are served highly nutritious and hygienic foods. And we had won a lot of trophies in university tournaments.

Faculty: Our lectures were well known for their excellence in coaching. They also arrange free tuition, considering the economic status of our students. Then, clearing examinations is also very much easier with the help, support and guidance of our professors.

Faculty members are supportive, placements are not good enough, good hostel and food.

Placements: About 48% of students get placed. And based on test and qualifying factors, the highest package was about 5 LPA and the lowest was about 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Wipro, Allele. About 59% of students get internships, and the university provides 100% internship programs. Top roles include in food tech companies as assistant workers and many more.

Infrastructure: Facilities are decent and are improving day by day. Wi-Fi is also good, and labs are improving, but more practical knowledge is still needed. The library still needs to be updated with new books and novels, as well as other books for all-around character development. The hostel is decent with normal food, but some days the food is the worst. Medical facilities are good, and all sports and games grounds are available, but more need to be made.

Faculty: Some faculty are supportive, but some are arrogant and cannot give proper knowledge. Course knowledge is improving, and I hope it gets better in the coming year. Semester exams are moderate to easy, but some subjects are tough. About 89% of students pass the exam.

Other: I chose this course because I was from the biology sector, so I wanted to be in the industrial department. I want to study further for the development of new technologies.

Review of Rama University, Kanpur.

Placements: Every year a maximum number of students gets placed in the organisations of their choices. For internships, students are trained in such a manner that they are capable enough to get internships opportunities on their own as well. Almost 100% of the students got the opportunity to do an internship in companies related to their respective branch of study.

Infrastructure: Studying at RAMA University Kanpur has been a fantastic experience. It has a multicultural environment, and you can expect to work together with people from all parts of the country. It provides quality teaching, facilities, teaching staff members, including industry professionals and highly regarded researchers and campus experience. Students are able to undertake a degree which I feel genuinely passionate about the rewarding experience. The structure of the degree has been in intensive mode. Learning methods and training techniques offered by RAMA University have been the best and challenging at the beginning. As the programme evolved, I have developed skills which allow me to cope up with the intense pace and focus better on what I need to learn. There is significant research activity going on at RAMA University, which is dealt with very high calibre research and development professionals, and it helps me in my future projects as well. Different learning programs at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of RAMA University are well-balanced on important aspects like academia, government and industry. All our lecturers at the university are in intensive mode, and everyone runs for 6 consecutive days from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. There is a significant amount of information that you are exposed to during each class. There is a lot of self-study and research to do to complete assignments and prepare effectively for examinations.

Faculty: I am fortunate enough to experience the quality and world-class education by academics at RAMA University. I receive support not only to pursue academic interests in my time at the university but activities that support my academics such as lab experience. Our lecturers are wonderful, and they always make time for me to discuss with my future path as well as my aspirations. I enjoy getting involved with the university, and part of that experience is in charge of the technical competitions that are held at RAMA University. It was a great learning experience and the support provided by professors. It certainly helped me to shape. The university provided a wide range of opportunities to immerse me in a world-class experience.

Other: I have chosen to study at RAMA University Kanpur because of the university's excellent research culture and focus. I am able to capitalise on the opportunities available here to succeed at university. In my childhood, I think that I work technically in future. In our campus, many events are conducted like Rama Fest, Rama tech-Monthan, etc.

Satisfied because of the faculty, placements and good facilities.

Placements: I am B.Tech final year student of Biotechnology. I have spent 4 years being a student of Rama University and I can surely say that the biotechnology department has experienced faculty members. They provide the best quality of education. There are regular classes for personality development, soft skills and aptitude. So, that each student can become fit to qualify for the different interview rounds. I got to learn a lot from here in all the prospects.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is also up to the mark. There are different labs available for each department. The lab facilities available are also good as it consists of all the necessary equipment. There is also a library for each department with all the books. There are separate hostels for girls and boys of different departments and they are well-equipped with the Wi-fi facilities, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games. The quality of the food is also good.

Faculty: The faculty present in the Rama University are highly qualified and experienced. They are very helpful. The course curriculum is also upto the mark as we get all the knowledge required to work in the industry. The training and placement department is also having highly qualified professional trainers. Who are ready to help the students with all the problems and make them fit for the placement.

Other: There are Fests that take place every year with all the cultural activities and the students enjoy the events. Rama University is well connected to the main city. It has buses that ply on all the route in Kanpur.

Placements money should be increased.

Placements: Placements provided in the college are not good but are increasing per year. The placements package offered in my course was about 9.5 LPA. Companies like FFDC and Wipro recruit. About all the students get internships here and are provided by the University. Roles which are offered are decent like junior assistant in labs or in any pharmaceutical company.

Infrastructure: University is actually working on infrastructure which is improving day by day. Every department is going on updation with ACs, lighting, smart boards, etc. The hostel facility is pretty good, food provided is well cooked with 4 times meals given in a day. The sports and medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: The faculty members are average here, some are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching level is also basic. Course curriculum is a little exhausting. You will have to be ready for lots of assignments. Some of the practicals are lacking here and I hope it improves. The passing percentage is 90%.

Other: It was my optional choice, so I had to choose this course. In my course, I have to be more active to learn things about genetics and their work along with lots of extra curricular activities. I would be happy if I get to do lots of practicals. Events are organized well and the campus life is good too. You will get scholarships through RUET test or based on your board results.

Good infrastructure and great faculty.

Placements: Placements are good in the biotechnology industry. Companies such as Amul and Patanjali are recruiting. Also, many good placements happened during the last placement drive with Stemcyte Company. Various kinds of short-term courses are also available. The training team does a good job with placements.

Infrastructure: The labs are very clean and have all the equipment. Hostels are also good, but medical hostels are better. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The food quality is good. The building has its own WiFi. The library and computer labs are the best. Biotech labs are extraordinary.

Faculty: Fully experienced faculty for the biotechnology branch are available. The faculty encourages students to publish various kinds of research papers. Most of them are PhD scholars and are fully educated and experienced as undergraduate students. The curriculum is easy yet appreciable.
