To calculate the CGPA, two sections in VJTI were built.Circuit and Non-circuit Branches make up the first. The disciplines of the circuit industry include computer engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, electronics & telecommunication engineering, and information technology.Examples of non-circuit branches include mechanical engineering, production engineering (sandwich), textile technology, and civil engineering.VJTI adopts a grading scale with ranges from AA, AB, BB, BC, CC, CD, DD, FF, II for the purposes of calculating the CGPA. The minimum passing standard is DD, and to achieve DD, you must receive 40 marks on the final evaluation.FF is taken into account for the semester's failure. For the purpose of assigning specific marks to the grade, the Average of the circuit branches is used for specifing a grades.Example : if the cercuit branhes has topper for of 90 marks then AA grade is set for 90 marks, and the lower grades are also set acording to this. Bywhichsometimes Mininum Passing criteria becomes less than 40 marks. This same process is applied for the Non- cercuit branches Also.

Personally VJTI mess is too bad. There are two messes in the VJTI, one is for boys and another for Girls. The girls mess is so good and less in price also, if you are a girl candidate then you don't have to think about mess food. The boys mess is hygenic but the there is no taste in the food, same variety accross the week, the main thing is Roti is so bad and made by roti machine. Only the mornig Breakfast is good.Must read [if you are living in PG near college]:I will tell you my personal hack for mess. in front of VJTI there is another college which is ICT, Mumbai where you can go eating mess food by purchasing coupon of evey meal which cost around INR 75 per meal. But the ICT mess food is far better than VJTI mess roti are handmade, variety is present for the week, food has a taste and the pricing per meal is in budget. Either if you are living in PG then you can apply for local tiffin providers, they will deliver the tiffin at your door step. The pricing of tiffins are around INR 80 to 100. The taste of food is ok, but quantity is limited. It depends upon you, if it works for you, works for you.

Don't worry, if you miss the Internal exam, you'll not be failed in the semester.Internal Exams (Mid-Semester Exam)Marks are taken into consideration in the final evaluation procedure for VJTI .Actually, the final evaluation score comprises the results of the midterm, final, and teachers' assessment.which gives the midterm exam 20% weight, the final exam 60% weight, and the instructor evaluation 20% weight. If someone misses the internal exams by some medical reasons, then you will be able to give re-exam after the semester ends. But always try to attend the exams, mostly it is hard to clear re-exams.

In my frist, I wish I would have known these following things :Join as much students clubs as possible and try to explore them. Make good participation in the clubs.Focus on CGPA along withe the enjoyment. beacuse maintaning the CGPA is also important in placement procpective and if you achive the good CGPA in your frist year then it will be easy to maintain it through out the remaining 3 years.Find a side hustle and give work on them everyday. Try to learn new skills, mostly if you ae instrested in the computer Science then at least you have to learn a programing language and try to do some project on them. If you are interested in the robotics and car racing then VJTI Robotics Club and Racing Clubs is the best place for you. Do participate in all the workshops through out the year, practice them. This will be very helpful in CV building.
