It is an amazing college, but don't expect jobs.
Placements: Previously it was easy to get government jobs by doing this course, but nowadays government is not recruiting. There is a lot of scope in private sectors like the sky is the limit for veterinary. Coming to government job you can also get in Karnataka. There is need to worry study well have a bright future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Shivamogga College stands top among 4 veterinary colleges of Karnataka. Surely you can enjoy our campus and greenery gives good breath and city also. You can avail anything in a few steps and teachers are very experienced and professors are available.
Faculty: There are around 150 teaching faculty and 200 non-teaching faculty members. The course curriculum is five and half years course. Semester system of 9 semesters and a one-year internship with the stipend of fourteen thousand per month. For the internship you have to visit all over Karnataka.
Other: Merit scholarship was Rs. 20,000 for two toppers a year.

It is the best for learning and good opportunities for life settlement.
Placements: Placements depend on government call form but you can practice in clinics, KMF, business, and private sector. Good scope is present for veterinarians in society. You will have good respect both from farmers and pet owners.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. There will be a human dispensary for human checkups and good doctors are available.
Faculty: Exams are difficult to score so you have to study regularly to score. You have to give importance to credit hours means the subject which has more credit hours, you have to study that subject more to score marks. The system is annual and there is no semester system.
Other: There will be a grand fest at the end of every month. Events like college day, hostel day, ethnic day, freshers party for juniors, and send-off party for final year students are conducted. Every year, there will be intercollege sports and in the final year, an educational tour is conducted. There will be good bonding between juniors and seniors. You will enjoy it a lot on the tour and in sports.
