Vignan VIIT Visakhapatnam - I'm satisfied with faculty and good placements.
Placements: About 65 percent of students from our batch got placed through campus drives which is decent if you've kept your skills and communication sharp. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and Capgemini are among the companies that visited our campus. The highest package is around 9 LPA while most offers landed between 3.5 LPA and 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped computer labs, digital classrooms, Wi-Fi, seminar halls, and a central library. Labs are accessible enough for practical work and project building. The hostel is decent security and maintenance is taken care of. Mess food is average not great but manageable.
Faculty: Most faculty members are experienced and approachable. They explain things clearly and stay involved during lab sessions and project work. The curriculum mixes theory with practical content and the college runs training programs and workshops fairly regularly. Semester exams are manageable if you prepare consistently. Pass rates are solid across most departments.
Other: I'm a lateral entry student, so I joined directly in the second year. I chose Information Technology because it felt like the safest bet for placements in this region and Vignan's reputation in Visakhapatnam made it an easy pick over some other private colleges. We spent a lot of time on theory that never showed up in any interview while topics like DSA, system design, and competitive programming were mostly self taught.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placement opportunities for students.
Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students got placed. 8 LPA is the highest and the lowest is 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant, and Accenture. The Top roles offered in our course are software developer, data analytics, and technical support roles. Around 40-50 percent of students also received internship opportunities in companies related to software development, data analytics, software engineering, and technical support roles.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities for students. Our department has labs with internet access, facilities, projectors in classrooms, seminar halls, and a library. Hostel facilities are average to good. Rooms are maintained regularly and basic facilities like water, electricity, and security are available. The quality of food in the mess is decent and manageable for students.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and supportive towards students. Most of the teachers explain concepts clearly and encourage students during practical sessions and projects.
Other: I want to grow in IT and also to improve my technical skills. So i chose thisc ousre. The events are more exciting to participate, organise, and learn things from.

Good Infrastructure and Placement.
Placements: Nearly 80% of the IT batch 2026 are placed. The highest salary was 14 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. There are many students who got internships in our course. Well-guidance and support from faculty and HOD, and training facilities are very good. Trainers are well-educated and experienced.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, library, and labs are well maintained, and the infrastructure is excellent. No Wi-Fi problems. Sports and games are conducted according to schedule, and equipment is provided when your department allocates you for sports or games. Infrastructure and college are good.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly highly qualified and experienced. Industrial visits are also conducted so that students can gain knowledge about industry work. Semesters are conducted smoothly, and the pass percentage is mostly above 75 to 85%. The semester exams are of medium difficulty to pass.
Other: IT is an important course, and in my course, the faculty are friendly and highly qualified and experienced. The HOD and facilities support us in many events and hackathons, and also properly guide us.

I'm absolutely satisfied with the college because of its infrastructure and good lectures.
Placements: Nearly 70 percent of students were placed. Amazon and Cognizant were major recruiting companies. Nearly 80 percent got internships. The top roles offered were specials and backed developed. Many were selected for a minimum package and got internships at Cognizant.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available on every floor. Labs were highly equipped, and the library was superb with all the books and fully developed equipment, and it was very clean. Hostel fee started from Rs. 70,000, with nearly 60 to 70 beds and food was available and good.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and gave their time to students in explaining the subject. Coming to the semester exams looks pretty simple. While we prepared well for mid exams, it helped us to score more marks in semester exams and gave us good credit.

The best things are practical learning, coding skills, and placement opportunities. More industry projects and internships would improve the course. The college conducts fests, workshops, sports, and extracurricular activities regularly. Campus connectivity, surroundings, and scholarship support are also good.

Vignan is good and everything, and I recommend newbies to join.
Placements: In our Vignan College, especially from our course CSE, 76% of students were placed; it's not a small number based on the entire strength. The highest package offered is 11 LPA, and the lowest would be 2.5 LPA. The average package is 4.84 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Incircles, Infosys, Imaginovate, Kaptius, Infinity, TCS, and 24/7.AI, etc., and the roles offered are special programmer, DSE roles, and SE (System Engineer) roles.
Infrastructure: Our labs and classrooms are big enough, and the labs are well maintained by the in-charges. There are always enough labs, and computers are working, and Wi-Fi is available 24/7, allowing us to work and practice anytime, irrespective of college hours. The principal and HOD encourage students to stay if they want and practice. The library is well-equipped with books and computers, it is up to date.
Faculty: In our CSE department, the faculty is very effective in teaching and encouraging the students. Our faculty is also very talented and patient in motivating and teaching the students. The teachers are very helpful and qualified. Their knowledge is exceptional, and their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant, every subject relates to another subject, and I think the way they prepare the curriculum is very useful and helpful. The semester exams are not so difficult and not so easy. I think they made it even for all students by keeping the variance of students' capabilities. The pass percentage will be above 80%.
Other: I chose this course due to my childhood aim to become a software engineer. When I entered, I had no idea what it would be like, but I think I made the best decision. I think improvements like adding more about machine learning and AI should be made, as they are the fastest and most upcoming future of the world. Coming to the fest and campus, Vignan Yuvatharang is the best fest. I think it is the best for all, they even behave like a school.
