Absolutely no social life, no fests or events are conducted. Faculty members are good.

Placements: 86% of students from my power electronics course were placed. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Hitachi Hi-rel, Power Electronics, Newen, Mindra Green, and Multispan. I don't recall the exact percentage, but almost all students secured internships.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available on campus or in hostels. The labs are functional, but we don't get to use them much in the first year. The library has odd hours and is rarely open. The hostels are fairly spacious compared to nearby PGs. The water shortage issue continues to persist. There is a mess, but the food is intolerable; however, the canteen is adequate. There are no medical facilities, and there is one functional badminton court and one basketball court.

Faculty: Teachers are good. They are skilled and knowledgeable in their subject. Yes, it is quite an interesting subject if one has an interest in electronics. For industry purposes, our department has signed MoUs with two leading companies in our field Hitachi and Mindra Green. Semester exams are quite moderate, if you prepare for it, you'll do good.

In our college, if any student gets admission they never face consequences.

Placements: In our branch, total 15 students applied for placements and 8 students got jobs in 2024. Our college provides maximum 15 LPA package if your CGPA is high. Other students also get placements in other companies and we get jobs easily because of our degree.

Infrastructure: Hostels are very clean and decent. It is well designed and other facilities are also available in our college. So basically, we are very happy in our college because they check it regularly. Its fee is also less so students can easily pay it without any problems.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very supportive so basically, students do not face any other problems. The teaching quality is the best of Vishwakarma College professors. We never face any hesitation in questioning. They also guide us in all our projects and encourage us to build new ones.

Other: I chose this course because it's best for the combination of power and electronics.

Review of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College.

Placements: There is no need for many percentage. This college needs only students' intelligence, not their results. Students get admission easily and base all things on their performance. So, ACPC rank needs but not like that other branches which need maximum ranks.

Infrastructure: Many classrooms are available and all things are clean. The professors are very supportive. Our library is very big and filled with many books related or not related to our course. But it's held us in our daily life and we learn more about our life.

Faculty: Exam schedules are very detailed and everything is perfect. We don't need any further information about it from any other faculty members. So basically our internal exam is scheduled by our college. Our external exams are scheduled by GTU but both are very perfectly made.

Other: Our college is government but its facilities are still the best. Our college is best for any course.

It has very good education and placements.

Placements: Hi, I graduated in power electronics. In 2024 batch, in our time placements were about 90% in our department. The highest package in college is 12 LPA, and the average salary is 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top companies are Hitachi, Reliance, Adani, etc. The internship percentage is about 100%. Top roles offered are R&D, project management, and sales.

Infrastructure: The power electronics department has well-equipped laboratories with simulation and testing tools. It has high-speed Wi-Fi in the modern classroom. The facilities in hostel are so good, a room consists of bed, table, and chair. The food in mess is average not too good. Medical facilities are also available in the hostel.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have deep knowledge in their specified field. Their practical knowledge is also very well. Semester exams are not must difficult. If you prepare well then you will perform well. It makes you industry-ready.

Vishwakarma Government Engineering College is very good.

Placements: In this college, 80% of the placements are done on the college campus. Famous companies like Adani, Reliance, and Tata come here for placements on the campus. The highest package in the Power Electronics department is Rs 5 Lacs, and the minimum package is Rs 3.5 LPA. The placement of the students is 100%.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good and big. There are many types of blocks here. There are many halls like library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. Here on campus, the canteen, port security, and many facilities are very good. This college provides hostel facilities for boys and girls. This hostel has many rooms. Only accommodation facility is provided. Here, both the girls' and boys' hostels are separate. There is a mess in both the hostels. The hostel fee for the whole year is Rs 2,500.

Faculty: The faculty in power electronics is very good and experienced. The faculty members in this department are very supportive. Professors in this college provide study in many ways like blackboard, PPT, and group discussions. If there is any question, faculty definitely brings the solution. There is a good relationship between students and teachers. I love this place because its atmosphere is cool. There is no noise pollution and no traffic pollution. Our college provides excellent study, faculty, and students.

Other: I am currently studying in bachelor of engineering power electronics department. This department has very good faculty and it provides very good education. Admission for this course is given based on eligibility criteria like 12 PCM and GUJCET. The placements in this college are very good, making it ranked third in Gujarat. Attending VGEC for my BE (PE) is an incredible journey filled with growth and learning. The annual fee for this college is Rs 6,000, which includes Rs 1,500 admission fee Rs 1,150 tuition fee, and Rs 825 exam fee in the first semester. Students get many types of scholarships, especially in Digital Gujarat.

Infrastructure: I love infrastructure of our college. College is in a very big area and I love freedom and to enjoy every moment at this college. In our college, Wi-Fi is available which provides students with high speed. There are many labs and one library available. We also get the best quality food at the mess, and we can play sports on the campus grounds. Sometimes we get to participate in gaming tournaments.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Teaching quality is best. Power electronics course make students self-confident. If we are not able to secure a job we can do business on our own this type of mind is given by this course.

Other: I chose this course because it doesn't have high competition. It is a course where there is low competition and high results. I wish that our department's faculty members could be improved at some points. Every special event is celebrated with full of excitement. Students can get the PM Yashshvi scholarship of Rs. 11,500 and if they are hostelers, they can apply for hostel scholarship of Rs, 15,000.
