Our college has better infrastructure, better scenery, best placements, and good faculty members.

Placements: In the 2024, placement season, around 85% of students from the CSBS course secured placements. According to 2024, the highest package was 37 LPA and the lowest package was 7.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Tata, Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, and Infosys. According to 2024, around 60% of students got placements in companies such as Tata and Google. Top roles offered by this course were business analyst, product manager, and software engineer.

Infrastructure: In the college, there are good Wi-Fi facilities and well-equipped labs with good internet connection. Library is also available which can be accessed by all students. Hostel are only available for female students which are also limited whereas boys are accommodated in nearby PGs and hostels. In our college, we also have a pharmacy block where we can get medical support. We also have an indoor gym and cricket nets for students.

Faculty: There are experienced faculty members in our college who help us in every aspect of teaching, day by day they teach new concepts. Course curriculum makes students industry-ready as this course gives knowledge about both the business and software side. There is a medium level of difficulty in the semester exams in the college. About 86% is the pass percentage.

Other: I chose this course as I am interested in both the business and software side. There are many events and co-curriculum activities conducted every month in our college. Our college also has the best scenarios. Events are conducted in our college like Pulse, Auto Expo, Pragyna, and Khelotsav.

The journal of a student from GRIET.

Placements: Our branch is CSBS, and our batch is from 2024-28. In our college, nearly out of 65, 65 were placed. Our college has the highest package of 45 lakhs in CSBS especially, and the lowest was 6 lakhs. Our top recruiters are Deloitte, TCS, Amazon, etc. Actually, in our course, in the first year itself, we get an internship by TCS through an exam.

Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure, like well-furnished benches with all the fans and lights required. We have separate blocks for each branch, and we have free Wi-Fi available with enough number of rooms and a big library of 2 floors. We don't have a hostel at this point of time, but surely it will be available soon, and now it's available only for girls, with a strength of 250 members. We have a good canteen, mess, sports, and games.

Faculty: The faculty or teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teacher quality is 4/5. The course curriculum is relevant and it is of enough content, and our syllabus will be changing every 2 years as per the latest syllabus. The semester exams are a bit hard but useful for us. The pass percentage is above 40 out of 100.

Other: I have chosen this course for studying business further. I like the teaching of business; they explain very well. I wish more technology could be used in this course. Events are held rarely. The campus has a good strength of people. There are no connection issues. Scholarships are provided for EAMCET students. All extracurriculars are done.

GRIET: Neither good, nor bad experience.

Placements: The placement opportunities for outgoing 2024 are good but not great because of the recession in the IT sector. I would say 75% of the students got placed with an average of 4-5 LPA. They bought a few top-tier companies like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Accenture, but bulk recruitment was only done by Accenture and TCS, leaving very few students. They filtered the students with a CGPA of 8.5–9 for most of the companies and the companies visited were less compared to any other year.

Infrastructure: My course was CSBS, which is very unique compared to the regular branches in college. It integrated the core principles of computer Science with essential business-related concepts like finance, accounting, etc. So it can help students to either opt for the IT field or business stream for their career. The infrastructure was good for the students and the library is well enough for the students who love to read and gain knowledge. I don't know much about the hostel as I was a day-scholar student. And lastly, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good and the prices were also reasonable .

Faculty: The faculty plays a pivotal role in teaching you the course you have chosen, and I think they gave their best for the students. They opted for interactive sessions rather than explaining the subject without any practical implementation. However, some faculty members just read the slides they have prepared for the class without giving an in-depth explanation of the topics to the students. Of course, in engineering, you need to self-study for sure but that is from the 3rd year, I guess. For the first 2 years, the faculty was good enough to teach, but later on, only a few faculty members thoroughly explained to the students the syllabus, its importance, and, of course, the subject.

Other: I genuinely think the placement cell can try to find better companies for the students because off-campus recruitment is much more difficult for freshmen than on campus. Students had no other option but to opt for higher studies and try outside the campus for job opportunities. Also, a few staff members impose strict rules on students and try to restrict them from moving freely on campus. They even nag students, especially boys, sometimes if they are seen with girls. I think that could be improved. It's not wrong to befriend boys or girls but they treat it as a sin. When it comes to events, they are held very rarely and sometimes we don't even get attendance for attending events.

Good infrastructure and one of the leading colleges in Telangana with top notch placements.

Placements: About 90–95% of students are placed, with the highest being 45 LPA and the average being 6 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Google, TCS, Wipro, etc. Come for recruitment. About 40% of students get internships at various companies. Roles are offered, such as side, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, with all lab facilities, free Wi-Fi, and good ventilation in classrooms. The library is updated frequently with new journals and books. There is no boy's hostel, but there is a girl's hostel. The quality of food in the canteen is good, and the sports facilities are also good.

Faculty: Well-qualified and experienced faculty are provided with good teaching quality. The faculty is very helpful at all times. The curriculum is updated with every regulation to make students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult, but it's good to know that the pass percentage is above 80%.

Other: I selected this course due to its variety of subjects, including both business and technical topics. It would be preferable if more technical subjects were included in each semester. The university hosts a monthly event, which will be a plus.

Our college has good placements and a good course structure.

Placements: In our college, almost 100% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 44 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Cisco, DarwinBox, GAP, TCS, Cognizant, and Accenture visit our campus. The number of students getting internships is less than 1%. Top roles offered in our course are software engineer and data analyst.

Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a hostel facility. There is only a girls' hostel available. The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi works around the whole campus. The food available in the canteen is commendable. They have an indoor games center where you can play table tennis, carrom and chess. There is a separate gym facility for boys and girls. There is a cricket ground and badminton courts.

Faculty: The syllabus for the computer science and business systems course is designed by TCS. So, it is highly industry-relevant and trains them for those roles. Our teachers are quite knowledgeable and qualified. Semester exams for this course are harder compared to other courses, but achievable. The pass percentage is almost 80%.
