My college placement section is better than private college.
Placements: As a student of Shri Ram College of Commerce, I would like to share that my college is better than a private institute. The percentage of students placed every year in my course department is very high compared to private colleges. The highest package is about 12 LPA at my college.
Infrastructure: As a student of Shri Ram College of Commerce, I would like to share that my college is better than a private Institute. The facilities and infrastructure available in my course department were like Wi-Fi. Classroom labs, ground, washrooms, etc., are very good according to the feedback taken from students.
Faculty: As a student of Shri Ram. College of Commerce, I would like to share that my college is better than a private institute. The teachers of the MU course department are very cooperative towards their students. The semester examinations are not that difficult for regular students of my college.

Satisfied with the placement of the 2022 batch.
Placements: My honest reaction about placement. All people, no matter which branch you're from, ultimately get placed in IT firms. Companies like Cognizant, On subsea, Aker Solutions, etc., are hiring. I completed my Masters in control systems and am now working as a software engineer. The package was 6-7 Lacs. Basically, it was a software placement drive.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good; the campus is filled with trees, but its maintenance is poor. Wi-Fi facilities are available, and our classrooms have CCTV, digital boards, and projectors. The hostel was not good because of some rowdy people; it became scary, mainly those who are from South India. Their group dominates the students.
Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching, but in handling students, they are poor. There are continuous fights and crimes on campus; teachers need to be strict to stop this. Walchand has a good curriculum that includes in-depth theory and practicals for the overall development of students. Exams are held twice a year.
Other: Our college is one of the best colleges. We have a good placement track record, which is why I chose Walchand.

Our college provides good environment and the best knowledge to students.
Placements: Top recruiting companies for IT and CSE branches are Google, Microsoft, Dassault Systems, Rakuten Software, Linkedin, TCS, etc. Every student from CSE and IT branches gets placed in good companies. Students can work with faculty on research projects.
Infrastructure: One of the main attractions of our college is Ajit Gulabchand Central Library which is one of the biggest libraries in Asia. Classrooms are good and clean. Departments are well maintained. Wi-Fi is available. The food served is healthy.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant and upgraded on time. It makes students industry ready. Teachers are good, helpful, informative, and well-qualified in their core subjects. They provide in-depth knowledge of the subject. The course curriculum is designed for the sustainable growth of the students in global competition.

Review of Walchand College of Engineering.
Placements: Out of 27 students in my class, around 15 students got placed in different companies. The highest package offered was 9 LPA by Cummins, and the average package offered by different companies was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Dassault System, Infosys and Quest Global. Almost 70% of students in my class got internships. Companies like HCL, Cummins and some other private companies come here. The top role offered was R&D design engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old but very precious. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus. Classrooms and labs are modern and include projectors, green boards with markers, and comfortable seating arrangements. The library is one of the best things, and it is huge. Hostel rooms are not that good and also the mess. The college has a huge ground surrounded by trees. The canteen is open from 7 am to 7 pm.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have Ph.D.s or Master's atleast. They are knowledgeable and helpful with good teaching skills. The curriculum is a bit old, I guess. We can acquire practical knowledge. The curriculum can't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not at all difficult. Listening to classes well is enough to easily score good marks in exams.
Other: I wanted a course that requires both mechanical plus software knowledge, so I chose this design field. It requires different modeling software skills. A design engineer can work on computers only, and no need to go to the manufacturing floor. It would have been better if we could get more practical knowledge. The college has lots of clubs which organise different events from time to time, like gathering, dandia, Independence and Republic day celebrations, Chatrapti Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti etc. The college also arranges technical symposiums and conferences.

It is one of the best college of Sangli.
Placements: Above 90% of the students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered till now was about 10 LPA given to a computer science engineering student. But the company was non-technical, and it was not in the technical area. It is a pleasant process and easy also because college gives you proper support.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good along with completion of all the needs along with well-equipped laboratories and talented tutors. We are getting all the facilities which include food, health, sports, library, hostel, classrooms and laboratories, and the living space is also neat and clean. The best part is that our university is situated above a hill away from the city area so we are getting a fresh and clean environment to live in.
Faculty: The quality of our teachers is the best and as we approach them we always get proper and satisfying answers from them in every situation. We are learning through an updated syllabus along with the updated way of learning and majorly we focus on practicals first as science is the subject of experiments.
Other: I am feeling proud to be a student of this college. Our college has both negative and positive perspectives. But apart from the negative perspective, the positive perspective of Walchand College of Engineering is lowering the negativeness and spreading the positiveness in the environment of Sangli.

The college should provide an internship to all PG students.
Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. TCS and Innovators visited our campus for placements and offered the highest salary package for students. In the year 2018, about 40% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities like classrooms and Wi-Fi available in our college were excellent. Our college library is one of my favourites I have ever seen. The college provides average facilities in the hostel. Quality of food served is average. The canteen is good. The college provides a huge ground for cricket. The college also provides all indoor games.
Faculty: For PG, staff members are not so good as UG can have. All senior faculty members are assigned to UG students. Lectures are conducted projectors, which is a good thing. Many temporary staff members are not good in their knowledge. Many staff members need to do more work on their skills.
