With less percentile hoping for a good college, it is a good place with average packages.
Placements: Students get placements from the 3rd year onwards in our college. From the 4th semester, students become eligible for placements. Companies like Godrej Infotech, Newfold Digital, Zycus, Acron, L&T Finance, etc., visited our campus. The highest salary package offered till now this year is 32 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Around 85% of students got placed. Many students choose to go for higher studies. My plan after getting a degree is to go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned. We switch to different classrooms according to different lectures. Labs are well-equipped. Lecturers are held regularly. The library is good with various books. Washrooms are clean. There is a good quality water filter that provides both normal and cold water. We have 3 beautiful turfs and one basketball court which you can use anytime, mainly students play after college. You can play cricket, football, basketball, badminton, carrom, chess, and table tennis. You don't need to wear ID cards. The college is well-maintained in terms of infrastructure. There's no hostel.
Faculty: There are good teachers. Both the teaching and non-teaching staff are helpful and kind. Teachers of the IT department are good at teaching and each one has either done a master's or Ph.D. in their fields. In the First year, one teacher teaches two different classes. Faculty members are quite good by nature. They are good at teaching also. Each one of them teaches well and has good teaching experience. We have a total of 3 exams before the final semester exam. The first two are IAT exams (Internal assessment tests). This course gives you theoretical knowledge, but you have to work hard to get your desired job.
Other: Our college accepts admission through government quota I. e. Cap round and JEE Main percentile. As of 2024, the MH-CET cutoff was 94%. The Catholic minority can get admission easily. I was interested in computer coding and by CAP got into this college. The curriculum is old designed so honestly, we have to develop more skills on our own. The college teachers help us with it when asked. The curriculum should be updated. We are going to learn C language, Python, and Java. Instead, I think we should have C+ language, Python, and Java. Fests are conducted by both tech and non-tech.

The college offers decent placements and qualified faculty to the IT course students.
Placements: Xavier Institute provides best placements opportunities to its students. Every year, around 30–35% of the students gets placed at this college. average package offered at the college was between 3 and 6 LPA. The top recruiters in this college were Infosys, North Ladder, Jio, Airtel, etc. The top roles offered in the course were project head, associate, analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Xavier Institute had really good infrastructure for the information technology course. All the facilities offered at this college were really good. The library of the college was well stocked. The entire college campus had a Wi-Fi facility. Other necessary facilities, like a hostel, canteen, sports and medical facilities, were available for the college students.
Faculty: The faculty of the Xavier Institute was really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about information technology. The professors were making us understand all the concepts easily. The teaching quality at this college was good. The course curriculum followed at this college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Exams at our college were easy to difficult.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost 96% of students get placed in good companies. The placement process can get a little slow at times, but eventually, every student gets the opportunity to sit for the placements. Our college also provides training courses to help students train for the aptitude tests and so on.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, with Wi-Fi available throughout the campus for free. Labs are clean and equipped with good machines and high-speed internet connections. Besides this, other facilities like printers, projectors, smart boards, etc., are also available for students to use at any time of the day.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent, especially in the IT department. They are helpful. Proper question banks are provided before the exam so that students can prepare well.
Other: Our college organises several events, from sports to cultural activities, throughout the year. Students are also motivated to take part in everything.

It is value for money with decent placements and great teaching staff.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed, and around 20% of students get placed with salary package of 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The top recruiting company is Quantiphi which recruits for roles like business analyst, framework engineer. Internships are mostly through student's own efforts and not through this college this is one disadvantage. A lot of students found internships through online portals and personal contacts, to conclude BE in information technology if completed from XIE with good marks and decent technical skills can fetch students a good IT role with a 6 LPA at least which is a good start for a fresher.
Infrastructure: Although the infrastructure for this college classrooms and laboratories are decent with high-speed internet connectivity everywhere. The classrooms do no have air-conditioning which makes it hard to beat Mumbai heat sometimes. Other than that laboratories have appropriate machines and other tools required. This college also has a good canteen and common area to sit, relax, and eat. This college does not have a hostel facility.
Faculty: The biggest advantage of XIE is the helpful faculty members as they are always ready to help and are passionate about teaching and helping the students achieve good scores and enhance their skills at the same time. The curriculum course is relevant and the laboratories provide good hands-on experience with at least two mini projects each semester that help students work with new technologies.
Other: I chose this course because of the placements and Mumbai University affiliation. The best thing is the teaching staff and placements support. The infrastructure can be improved along with providing additional support to secure internships not just jobs. The cultural and technical fests are great with low of crowd and events. There are many extracurricular activities like TEDxXIE, NSS, CSX, etc.

I suggest you don't take admission to this college at all. You will not get placed in any company.
Placements: This is the worst college, and I suggest you don't take admission here at all. The placement cell is very bad. Our college TPO is not supporting at all and not helping at all. Around 50% of students were placed. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. You will not get placements from this college. Before taking admission to this college, I suggest you think many times.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work here properly, but labs are good. The library is a little bit good, but they are not updating the books at all. The canteen is good, and our college also has medical facilities. Our college is also good in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers here are good at teaching. The course curriculum is also good. But in the end, you need placements through on-campus, but this college is not good at placements.
Other: Our college celebrates one fest named Spandan every year.

Amazing college in terms of placement and teachers.
Placements: Almost 100% of students with proper knowledge of subject and marks in exams got placed. The highest package 11 LPA the lowest 2.5 LPA and Average 4 LPA. Amazon, TCS, BMS etc. Roles offered are database engineer, database administrator, assistant manager in jio, data engineer, full stack developer.
Infrastructure: Labs are good with proper management of labs on weekly basis. Food quality was just average. In terms of extra curricular activities and sports our college is on top, but the faculty doesn't support students. But all the seniors manages the activities properly and win number of prizes in different competition.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good, very helpful and qualified. They support in different activities and helpful in doing academic projects and other technical activities. Some of them are really highly qualified and share their experience with the students amazingly.
Other: Events were not so good because of the people's attraction.

Only dissatisfied in the sports events, no sports events was held properly.
Placements: Yes 85% of the student were placed, the highest was 24 Lacs which was japan company and the lowest was 3.25 Lacs average was 2.5 Lacs Top recruiting companies were Capgemini, LTI, qunatipi, paisa Dukan, BNP Paribas, seclore, ECW, alpha plus and etc., few of them are into the developer. And software engineer, and cybersecurity, ERP, the highest was 24 Lacs, the lowest was 3.25 Lacs and the average was 2.5 Lacs. At our time there was no internship.
Infrastructure: The facilities were very good all classroom was well-maintained Wi-Fi was proper and labs were conducted at the proper time and the library was well maintained. And coming to the infrastructure, of course, was very good. Coming to the hostel, the hostel was not there in our college the canteen was good and proper maintained and the sports event was very good but there was a shortage of gymkhana space.
Faculty: Coming to teaching part teaching was good and very helpful. The teaching quality was very nice. Coming to the course curriculum is very worth because its no use in the industry because the Mumbai university gives the syllabus was no use. Only just mug up the answer and write the answer and show the marks to parents. Most of the syllabus was only theory that's it. No more implementation was included.
Other: Because my interest was in the field of computers and technology. The best part of this course that I learned about the web application and ethical hacking. And the subject was web security that was included in our syllabus. More focus on the Implelemtation part rather than theoretical knowledge because "learning only gives you the knowledge and the implementation of that knowledge give you a success". All the events and fest was very well conducted. And the crowd of the campus was very friendly and very nice. Coming to campus surrounding it was very amazing. The scholarship was provided to the student. The extracurricular activities were conducted at the time of fest only.

Only dissatisfied in the sports events no sports events is held and no encouragement for sports.
Placements: 80% of the student were placed and the highest salary was 24 Lacs which was a japan company and the lowest was 2.5 Lacs. The companies were Infosys, xoriant, quantipi, endurance, capgemni, BNP, and etc. And all we have to study BEE, mechanics, and Java, c web application, cloud computing, computer graphics, and etc. The highest package was 24 Lacs per year and the lowest package was 2.5 Lacs per year offered to our course. No internship was offered to our college in any companies.
Infrastructure: Internet was very third class no internet was good. And about the classrooms its was well. And no sports facilities were given for the student so that they can spend on that and the library was excellent. Labs was well conduct and well managed by the teacher.
Faculty: The teachers were very good and helpful for every student but the course which we had study were no use for industry level and its waste of time study engineering according to me which was only theory and 20% practical which was not use in any level.
Other: Because I am interested in hacking and in IT its very much to learn from that. They should be provided 80% practicals and 20% theory. So that the students should get much knowledge more than studying theory. Fest in the campus is all good.
