XIE has great teaching staff members, but it does not have great placement opportunities.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students got placed from the electronics and telecommunication branch. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA by MNCs, and the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA by Quntiphi, which is offered for the students passing in 2021. Top recruiting companies are MNCs such as TCS, LTI, Infosys, Capgemini, and also Quantiphi. Internships are not offered by the college, but students opted for internships from their reaches. Various IT job profiles are offered by companies, but the junior developer is the top job role.
Infrastructure: Our college has great and spacious labs and classrooms for the electronics and telecommunication branch with all the required instruments and practical setups. Air-conditioners are available only in labs. There is no Wi-Fi on the college premises for students. XIE also has a great and massive library on the premises, which has all the required reference books needed for the curriculum. There are no hostel facilities provided by the college, but students from outstations can rent rooms or stay in PGs.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified with either bachelor's or master's degrees in the required fields. Most of the teachers are helpful and willingly share their knowledge. Most of the teachers are assignment-oriented, so students have to write many assignments. Teaching quality is good.
Other: Electronics and telecommunications engineers have fewer placement opportunities in the core, but they have many placement opportunities in the IT sector. So, I suggest others to opt for IT or computer science.

I am satisfied due to teachers, good placements in 2020, good and small infrastructure.
Placements: About 50% of the students in this college got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Companies like LTI, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and many others are top recruiters. Around 5% of the students got internships in companies like The Sparks Foundation, etc. Roles like system engineer, power engineer, software engineer, etc., Are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It is a 3-floor building, and each floor consists of each department. The library is located on the 1st floor, and we also have a digital library. There is no hostel provided by the institute. The food quality in the canteen is very good, and we have vegetarian thali, non-vegetarian thali and also every Chinese item. It also has a cricket ground, basketball court, etc.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, but in engineering, we have to do a lot of assignments. Teachers are highly qualified here, and the teaching quality is also decent. The course curriculum is relevant. This college makes you industry-ready as it has its own placement cell, which provides placement training to students about technical rounds, interview round, HR rounds, GD, etc.
Other: In this course, you can get familiar with the software and hardware part, so it is an ideal course. Things that I wish to improve is if they give more practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge, it would be good. Many events take place here, like Sparx, which is a sports event. This college is known for its fest named Spandan. The crowd is good here, which consists of Christian, Hindu, Muslim, etc. The campus is located next to SV Road, and from Mahim Station, it takes 5 minutes.
