Perfect college for the freshers.

Placements: In our course, there are a total of 120 students, and they are divided into two sections. In my course, the highest package that one can get is approximately 4 LPA-5 LPA, and the lowest can vary from 1 LPA-3 LPA. Infosys and TCS are the top recruiting companies. Around 90% of students got internships. The top roles offered in my course are software developer, AI developer, and graphic designer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. The laboratory in our department is very good. All Open instruments are in running condition. All the consumable items are available in the laboratory. On the whole campus, Wi-Fi is available 24/7. All the classrooms have projectors. The library has a lot of books, including soft copies. Hostel facilities are very good. The canteen is very good. It also has medical facilities. Both indoor and outdoor sports and games facility is provided.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and teach really well. The course is updated according to the needs of the corporate market. The semester exams are thought to be mediocre, open in the app. Totally depends on each individual student how dedicated they are towards their studies. The pass percentage, I would say, 75%.

Other: I specifically chose this course because of its demands in the IT world. I was someone who wanted to study a course related to computers and make me ready for real-life problems. Obviously, the plus point of this college is that it provides excellent guidance and courses for self- development. Campus is anti-ragging free, and the fest login is really an attraction.

Overall nice experience in this college.

Placements: Approximately 70–80 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 16 LPA. The lowest package is 2.25 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Google, Berger, etc., are the top recruiters. Around 20–30 percent of students got internships from our college. The top roles are software developer, blockchain developer, cybersecurity, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college has a very beautiful, eye-catching view, and our labs and classrooms are very good. There are a lot of instruments available. Wi-Fi availability is present all over the campus. We have a very good collection of books in the library, and the library is also well stocked. Some of my friends stay in the hostel. The canteen is also open, but we rarely go to the canteen as I am staying outside.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified professionals, and their teaching skills are also good. Teachers in our college are helpful. We always appreciate and motivate ourselves. Subjects are easy because teachers clear doubts at any time. We go for industry visits and programs. The labs are good. Exams are good because teachers always check whether we have cheated or not. I passed with good marks because the teachers teach very good subjects.

Other: I chose this course because I am eager to learn about computers and new technology to help me build unique projects. Events and fests are top-notch in this college. Extra-curricular activities are also handled properly without hesitation.

The best college from my personal experience.

Placements: About 75% of the students are placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, the average salary package offered is about 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Tata Consultancy Services, Google, Amazon, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered to the students are software designer, cloud architect, etc. About 87% of the students got a paid internship from our college.

Infrastructure: Our college has an eye-catching infrastructure with many facilities. Some of the facilities include Wi-Fi all over the campus. Our classrooms are equipped with a projector. There is a central library with many books, with regular maintenance. There are labs with Linux, and every lab has a good internet connection. Canteen facilities are also good and well-maintained, and a variety of food is available there.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very helpful and well-qualified with PhDs. They help us to learn new things, but in the app, they are very strict in studies and discipline. Teaching is up to date as they use projectors and live examples. Preplacement training is given to every student, which makes us industry-ready with all the required skills. Subjects like Addons offered by Adobe and Red Hat in UI/UX, cloud computing and a lot help us to gain industry standards.

Other: I have chosen this course based on my interest. I think there is nothing wrong with this course. We have regular fests, annual days, fun activities, etc.

In my opinion, it’s a good college in this Nagpur area.

Placements: Placements in our college are good but not excellent. More than 70 percent of students are placed during placement campus drives. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest average is 4 LPA. Some top recruiters are Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, Capgemini, etc. Internships are provided for all the students, not only from the college but also from outside.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college is good; all the facilities are available on campus regarding your branch. Labs are available anytime with experienced lab assistants. Wi-Fi connectivity is also good. Libraries are well-stocked and always available. Hostel facilities are excellent, with a neat and clean campus. The canteen provides nice food of good quality, and the rates are also cheap.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and cooperative with students. They are highly qualified, like PhDs, and have deep knowledge of their subjects. The academic curriculum is well-designed, covering all important topics and making students industry-ready. Exams are not very difficult if you prepare well, but if you want only passing marks, you have to score more than 44 percent to pass.

Other: I chose this course because the curriculum of this course is good, and I am comfortable with it. Some things the college has to improve are providing better sports facilities and addressing some ragging issues, though not much.

An honest review of YCCE from a final year student.

Placements: About 80 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini. Few students got internships in Cognizant and some in Capgemini. Top roles offered in the course are data science and analysis.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in our department building, proper classroom and library facilities. Hostels are decent, and food served is also of proper quality. If any students require medical facilities, it is served on time. There are separate sections or clubs for sports and games. There are separate section or club for sports and games .

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, sharing their experience in teaching that makes teaching fun for us. The course curriculum is relevant to updated tech trends. The difficulty level is moderate to hard, testing students' patience and creativity. Pass percentage is 7 pointer.

Other: I chose this course because I was eager to learn about computers and new technology to help me build unique projects. Events and fests are top notch in this college. Extra-curricular activities are also handled properly without hesitation.

College is one of the best in Nagpur but as compared to Pune college life ***.

Placements: I am currently studying in the Computer Technology branch in 2nd year and the student placement is good as of the recession nearly about 50 to 60 percent students were placed this is and placement is ongoing. The highest package is 16 LPA, the minimum package is 3 LPA and the maximum average is around 5 to 6 LPA. Companies are Tata, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. Students got internships in Tata, Infosys, Deloitte, etc.

Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a very high end infrastructure but it is well maintained. The classrooms and common areas are kept clean and basic amenities are provided. The labs could be better. The PCs are relatively slow which sometimes affects coding and project work. Upgrading hardware and software in labs would greatly enhance the learning experience. Despite this students manage by using their laptops and collaborating in peer groups to work efficiently.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable with most of them having strong academic backgrounds. Some professors are highly experienced and guide students well, while others focus more on theoretical aspects. The teaching quality varies. Some teachers use practical examples, coding demos, and project-based learning, while others rely heavily on textbooks and lectures. Guest lectures and industry interactions could be improved for better exposure.

Other: I have always been fascinated by technology and problem solving. CSE offers opportunities to build innovative software and work on AI, cybersecurity and cloud computing. The industry demand and high paying job prospects also played a key role in my decision.

Placements: 90 percent of students in our CTECH branch, 75 percent in TECH branches, and 50 percent in core branches got placed. The highest package was 18 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Infosys. The roles offered in our course are software developer and web developer.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided on campus are good. All students have access to free Wi-Fi, and the library is open to all students. The classrooms are good, and the hostel is good but expensive. The food in the mess and canteen is good. However, there are not many sports available, and very little sports are played on campus.

Faculty: The teachers at this college are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are graduates and postgraduates from Nagpur University and have a lot of experience. However, the course curriculum is not very good, so we need to work hard on our own to get a good job. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and you should be able to pass them easily, as the passing percentage is 80%.

Other: The placement records for our branch are good. It's affiliated with Nagpur University, which is a plus. The student intake is limited, which is good. However, the curriculum is outdated and not relevant to today's job market. It needs to be changed. The college hosts a fest called Yash in January and February. The campus crowd is small. Domicile students can get a scholarship called the MahaDBT Scholarship.

Hidden truth of the most prestigious college of Nagpur.

Placements: Placements in YCCE are based on market trends. I am in computer technology, and I had a friend from childhood who is also my senior in this branch only and who got placed in Nagpur itself for 6.8 LPA. He said that the placements at our branches are way too good compared to other colleges in Nagpur. Our department has an average package of 5.5 LPA and the highest package of 20 LPA. And now YCCE has established the Eagles Club, where only 100 students are selected per year. This club is for placements only and the syllabus is based on what the industry needs today.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostel of YCCE is too good the special gym for students and a basketball court and offer three meals per day, i.e., breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hostel offers students free Wi-Fi 24*7 and water supply too. Every night, the warden visits every room for attendance. course infrastructure is also good every department has its own special building that contains a special lab for every task.

Faculty: Faculty members at YCCE are strict and helpful; they help the students wherever needed. The curriculum is quite strict, which means they just don't give you internal marks too easily; you will have to earn them, but not only by performing in the assessments but also by your behavior with faculty members, with your colleges, and also with the non-working staff. The exams are held three times a semester, as two unit steps and one last semester examination. YCCE has own team to monitor that no wrong things happen during the examinations.

Other: Every year, various events occur in the college, the most enjoyable of which is the annual event known as the YASH. This annual event is very famous in the whole Nagpur and students enjoy the event and make tier connectivity with not only the seniors of the college but also with students of other colleges too.
