Most of the students get placement from our college, so many companies can visit our college because it is the most reputed college at Delhi University.

Not a lot of students go for the placements through the college, and there were no internships at my time.

It's a decent college if you don't have any other choice.
Placements: Not one student gets placed. There is no role for the placement cell. It only offers internships in low-paying companies. The highest and lowest packages are never mentioned in any lecture and are not revealed. Many students get internships, but mostly in low-paying companies. I got my internship through off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel. Wi-Fi is available only in the library. The food is bad, and I even got sick once because of it. There are no proper facilities that encourage students to participate in sports other than cricket and kabaddi. I want to play table tennis, but the room where it is played is used by dance students for practice.
Faculty: I got my exam paper one hour late because of poor seating arrangements. The course does not prepare students for real-life situations. Teachers just complete their classes and finish their work. Some teachers do not even come to their lectures. They do not care whether students get placed or not. Teachers are okay.

Overall ZHDC provides a lot of activities.
Placements: As a student of ZHDC, I think that the placement cell of ZHDC is quite active, impressive, and supportive as well. Teachers also provide constant support and guidance towards it. From my perspective, I think 50 to 60% of students get placed each year. Internship fair was also conducted, where around 20 to 30 companies visited this year. Average salary offered is around 2 to 3 LPA. My overall experience with placements was quite impressive and satisfactory, and it is improving each year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities of Zakir Husain College are quite new and very good. Every classroom is equipped with smart boards and projectors. All the labs, whether Science or computer, have updated versions of laptops and computers along with proper Wi-Fi. The library also has a wide collection of books, whether academic or novels. Wi-Fi is also quite stable.
Faculty: The campus of zakir husain Delhi college is quite attractive and lots of plants and lower are also planted there which makes the campus vibrant. Lots of students societies are also there that helps to develop your skills and enhance your knowledge as well and the annual fest of zhdc are also very engaging and the area is safe and friendly teachers are also very approachable and provide guidance at each and every stage. The semesters exams are not that much tough if we have prepared well and our teachers paid attention towards pur preparation .
Other: Teachers are quite helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. As I said, classrooms are equipped with smart boards that really help students to gain better knowledge. Our academic curriculum is continuously updated by our faculty members so that we know about the recent changes in our syllabus. Overall Zakir Husain Delhi College offers variety of opportunities to students whether related to placements or academic. They have knowledgeable and approachable teachers who would make your college life easier and help them grow personally, or academically as well.

An amazing college because of good faculty members and crowd.
Placements: 60–80 percent of students are placed in my course, with the highest package 19.25 LPA, the lowest 13.20 LPA, and average 4–8 LPA, while top recruiters include Wipro, Genpact, TCS, Deloitte, EY, etc., and 40–70 percent of students get placed in these companies in roles like accounting, finance, banking, and business management.
Infrastructure: A new building is there with all the facilities, one of the biggest campuses, a good AC library, Wi-Fi available, a lab (under construction), and much more, with one of the best commerce faculties, but there is no hostel facility in our college.
Faculty: The best commerce faculty in Delhi University, with teachers who are very helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, and providing one of the best qualities of teaching, while everything is curriculum-based and studied in that way, making students industry-ready if they also put in hard work.
Other: Social life is good, with events and fests, good campus surroundings, many extracurricular activities, very good connectivity with two metro stations nearby, a bus stand, e-rickshaws available anytime, and affordable PG or flats in nearby areas.

    Good for graduation only.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Com (prog) from Zakir Husain Delhi College. According to my senior, the package is not good, it's around 3 LPA. I do not have much idea about the placement, as I have seen or heard that the placement is not very good at Zakir Husain Delhi College.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for B.Com (Prog) is not very good, but it is acceptable. Zakir Husain Delhi College does not provide hostels for students; instead, students reside in PG accommodations in Laxmi Nagar. Most of the students live in Laxmi Nagar, which is famous for CA and CS coaching.
Faculty: The faculty of commerce at Zakir Husain Delhi College is good. Professors are good with students. Professors help students with what to do in the future or what not to do in the future, and they ask the students about their goals for the future. Overall, the professors are very polite with the students.
Other: I want to do B.Com (prog) from the start of my graduation; that’s why I chose B.Com (prog) at Zakir Husain Delhi College. The infrastructure can be improved, and I hope the new building will also open soon.

Supportive faculty and a solid academic base, but industry skills need extra effort.
Placements: NIRF 2023 data shows that about 21% (294 out of 1,438 UG students) get placed, though this includes all UG programs. According to multiple student reviews, 50–60% of B.Com students secure campus placements. Top companies include TCS, Tata Capital, ICICI Bank, Wipro, Barclays, and many more. Nearly 60–70% of students secure internships in these companies, and the roles mainly offered are accountant, tax assistant, consulting intern, internal auditor, etc.
Infrastructure: If you talk about the library, it's pretty good with AC installations. The infrastructure is not very good, to be honest, but the new college building, which is yet to open, has perfect infrastructure and looks like a private college building. The ground is decent, and the greenery is good. Classrooms are better for science students, and for the commerce department, the first-floor classrooms are clean and good.
Faculty: Exams are based on DU’s semester pattern, internal assessment (10–20 marks), and written exams (80–90 marks). Most questions come from class notes and past year papers. Regular attendance and basic preparation are enough to pass comfortably. I think the passing percentage is around 80–95%. If I talk about teachers, I can say with confidence that they are really good and helpful. Accounts teacher Rizwan Sir is the best, along with Alam Sir. However, some teachers are too strict about attendance, which is a concern for students who bunk classes.
Other: I chose this course because I'm from a commerce background, and I wanted to pursue B.Com (Hons), but as my CUET score is 655 out of 800 in the general category, that's why I got this course. The best thing about this course, to be honest, is that it's best for those who are preparing for professional exams like CA, CS, CMA, and SSC because the B.Com Programme is slightly easier than Hons. If I talk about events and fests, they are mostly held from January to April.

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: The college organises an internship fair in the college itself every year. More than 100 companies visit for recruitment and offer various internships and placements. If we talk about the percentage of people who got an internship in B.Com (Hons) it is approximately 15% because it depends on the skill set of the candidate and the interests they carry various internships are unpaid and few are based on stipend which varies upto Rs. 15,000.
Infrastructure: There are different conditions in different classrooms. Few of them contain new benches whereas a few of them do not even have painted walls and old wooden benches which are not comfortable. The new building of the college is open just for lab purposes. I have no idea about the opening of the new building of Zakir Hussain Delhi College.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are specialized in their respective subjects. This course does not make students industry-ready. Students should have some soft skills, other skills, and knowledge to get a higher package in the future. Semester exams are not very difficult as the papers are made by the university only. The pass percentage in each exam is 40% and the majority of the students clear the exams.
Other: There are not such good events. The crowd is mostly northeastern and Muslim. No big fest is conducted. Only 1 major fest in a year. The college has various societies.
