A Journey to my Bachelor Days at Panchayat College
I am Saraswat, a BSc Hons graduate from Panchayat College in the Bargarh district of Orissa. Some of my hobbies include playing cricket, writing poems, reading books, playing games, etc. I chose because I loved Physics. I chose this college because it is in our district and it has excellent reviews for this course also. My admission process was quite simple. You just need to register on a portal called SAMS, where you can put your preferences of the colleges with the course you want to pursue. Based on the marks obtained in Class 12, a merit list is released. If your name appears in the merit list, then, you are eligible to join the college.
I am very passionate about the Nanotechnology and Quantum Computing. I have also published a project titled ‘Advancement in the field of nanoparticle for Cancer detection and Photothermal Therapy-based treatment.’
Experience at Panchayat College
Honestly, my expectations from Panchayat College were very low, as this is a local government college. But, I was wrong. The college is very good and it helped me with many things. It helped me to improve my personality, my overall attitude, way of thinking and the curiosity to learn something new. In my three years of journey, I got the best set of faculty members in terms of experience and teaching style. All of them are very friendly and supportive.

No, it is not mandatory to attempt all questions in GATE. Attempt only those which you are sure of, as the exam follows negative marking. However, you can still put some guesswork for NATs and MSQs, as there is no negative marking for this.
Negative marking is only applicable on MCQ questions. where 1/3rd mark will be deducted for 1 mark question and 2/3rd mark will be deducted for 2-mark question.
