The eligibility criteria for admission in CGC Landran requires a student to have 75% above in 12th board examination. There is no need to qualify any entrance exam. I gave 3 engineering entrance exams - JEE Main, JEE Advanced and WBJEE. Out of which I cracked two (JEE Main and WBJEE).

From childhood my favourite subject was Mathematics. So I chose Mathematics as my main subject in 11th. During 11th and 12th, my interest in Chemistry and Mathematics increased. I decided to build my career in Science with Mathematics. In 12th I also got to know about coding and AI which attracted my attention. I wanted to know about them in-depth and I decided to pursue CSE as my Btech stream. My brother is also an engineer and I wanted to become like him. The story of APJ Abdul Kalam inspired me to work in the technical field and do something for humanity. I want to do something for social welfare as well.

It is not so easy to take admission in NITs for CSE if you are from general category. So I had to choose CGC Landran because it is one of the best colleges in North India. The college provides good placement and its fee is also quite affordable. Due to my grades, I was not able to get admission in IITs and NITs. Joining IITs and NITs is my dream and I wish to pursue my master's degree from any IIT/NIT one day.

I also tried for Thapar University but the fees was very high and my family couldn’t afford it. So I took admission in CGC Landran. The college has good faculty,  amazing infrastructure, well-designed labs and interiors. Now I really think that my decision of opting CGC Landran was right. The environment of CGC Landran is very nice and friendly. CGC is a group of institutions which comprises of many different colleges so there are a number of students always present at the college premises.

The college timing is 9:15 am to 4:35 pm. There is a break in between the classes. The classes held from Monday to Friday and this keeps us busy. Sometimes a boring class becomes interesting with friends. I like to attend aptitude classes, technical and computer labs as I really find these classes interesting.

I love organizing and participating in coding events. I am a part of two events organized in my college. Till 12th, I was a very shy person but now I have become more confident. I have overcome my stage fear and now I am not afraid of anything also.
